Contains images that aren’t age appropriate
The quality is great. However, I don’t find witches, ghosts, demons with horns, and any spookiness to be appropriate for preschoolers! I will be returning.

Too easy and not challenging. Order next level or two up.
I bought this for my 4yo after reading all the great reviews. Received it today and my 4yo breezed through this deck in one go. My 2.5yo also was able to do this. I suggest ordering up a level or 2 or even 3.Also disappointed the first deck was in the box had torn/loose cards and not properly attached by the small metal fastener. The way the fastener is (bottom left corner) is cumbersome and gets in the way. Would've been better if they made it so you can flip the cards over. Disappointed I wasted money on this set based on the age recommendation. I guess I can use this one for my 2.5yo. Should've went with the next one up

My daughter loves them but on the easy side
I bought the pre-school (4-5) set and love the variety of questions. I think they are very are appropriate if a child has not already been in preschool for a year. For my daughter (who is turning 4 at the end of july) they are fairly easy. That being said, she has fun and it's a great tool, that keeps her thinking and boosts her confidence. I also have purchased the brainquest workbooks and find she struggles more with connecting the dots so it may be a difference in learning style where she visually learns with ease but is less tactile at this point. We take these on car rides instead of electronics.

These are an awesome learning tool
I have heard and read a lot about these Brain Quest cards recently and it dawned on me that I had either the same types of cards or something similar when I was a kid and I really liked them. I have always enjoyed trivia and I'm hoping to pass that on to my five-year-old. I wanted to start with the preschool since he has not started school yet but he actually knows a lot more than I thought he would and once we are done with these I plan to get the kindergarten ones. These are really good for helping you figure out what your kid might need a little extra help with and also to surprise you with how much your kid already knows. I also feel like this is getting my son more interested in learning and going to school than before.

Excellent at-home educational tool!
My son LOVES these. It's a game to him and he loves going through them and feeling that sense of accomplishment as he gets the answers right. It helps us also review some areas he is not as familiar with such as coin values, telling time, and recognizing some numbers and letters. He is 3.5 years old and has already gone through the deck that precedes this one, so I got him the 4-5 and the 5-6 year decks as well to see where he is on those levels and start exposing him to more things he is not as comfortable with.He still loves them and is doing great. I love that the presentation makes it like a game to him so it's lot laborious. He actually asks me and his dad to play the game with him. =)

Creates a special time
This is great for my 4.5 year old. She is flying through it. It's a great confidence booster! We do 10 slides a night before reading our usual 1-3 books before bedtime. I'd say one puzzle out of every 3-5 pages slightly stumps her but she figures it out quickly and it makes her even more proud! I ordered the Kindergarten set on the third night because it is so fun, for both of us! It creates a special time of bonding each night with my soon-to-be kindergartner! Good stuff.

Love brain quest cards
Love love brain quest. My 2 year old asks to "read my cards" all the time. We are now on the 4-5 year old cards. We started with the my first brain quest. We have also bought the corresponding work books. She loves to "do schoolwork" and use the stickers at the end of the books. These cards are easy to stash in the car or purse and take with you everywhere. Great to use in long lines and long drives

Portable, kid-approved. Might want to level up.
Got this for my 3.5 year old daughter who is currently in preschool. She didn't want to stop the first night I brought it out--she was having that much fun. She even asks to do the 'game with the cards.' There were some questions she had more trouble with than others (patterns, sequences), but I'd say she aced about 85% of the questions. I immediately ordered the age 5-6 version and plan to get her started on that soon. This comes with two fan decks in the set (different questions). Very easy to put in my purse. We brought it to a relative's home and to restaurants.

Excellent product
Brilliant for starting and maintaining attention and language skills. My daughter loves twisting to see if she is right. Have bought the older ones they are soo good.

Kids love it
My daughter loves it, like to read it through over and over. But feel the age group is bit inaccurate, 3 years old can answer 95% questions correctly in first go.

Great learning but with an added dimension of fun.
I love to sit with my daughter going through these cards. She loves it and as a bonus is getting to use her brain instead of sitting on a device watching brainless videos. I highly recommend these cards.

We love these cards but there's no way its appropriate for a 4-5 year old. My 2.5 year old was perfectly able to answer these and now she is 3 we've moved on to the 5-6 ones. Questions include those as easy as "which is the red item" and "which shape is the square" to the harder "which items begin with P" or "find the items that begin with S". Perfect for the back of the car or half an hour whilst we're waiting for dinner.

They are amazing and my kids loved them so much. We spent much more time together doing creative activities. Love the question cards so. Planning to buy all the brain quest boom sets and question sets🥰🥰🥰🥰
