Nice ratchet.
Great tool and nice form factor. Low back drag when using in tight spaces. The length seems to be just about perfect for most uses unless your in a confined space. Being able to use 1/4-In bits or a 1/4-in square drive with a regular socket is great. I get lots of leverage with this tool. I have smaller ratchets that have similar features for more confined spaces, but honestly those don't always work for the type of work I do so having something a little bit longer with more leverage works out well.

It was that tool I needed in a bind.
It was that tool I needed in a bind. Didn't want to remove that upper coolant bridge to remove the starter on an LS430. A flex head ratcheting wrench was able to do the passenger side, but in the driver's side the outside of the wrench was too thick. This little tool did the job. The fact that you can lock the position of the head is just another perk of this little guy. Some reviews day it is not durable. The ratchet head is small, but the handle is relatively long in comparison. I would in no way expect this thing to handle a lot of torque, but it's far strong enough for its size. Too me this tool has been worth every penny and then some. If you're a tool guy this little thing is a must.

Very interesting ratchet that does a slightly different job than other more traditional ratchets
Very interesting ratchet that does a slightly different job than other more traditional ratchets. This is not a full strength replacement for your regular ratchet but it is a good option for unique reach and control. Handle feels great and when combined with stubby sockets it fits in crazy tight places.

Eh....
Definitely not the quality I expect from Gearwrench! I have metric and SAE combination ratchet flex wrench sets, flex flarenut set, palm ratchets, and a bunch of others. (Not to mention my full shop toolboxes of Snap-on and Mac Tools... so it's not like I'm new at this!) Those Gearwrench tools are well made... and they look and feel nice. My flex heads are my go to wrenches most of the time. This... not so much. The thru the head bit adapter comes out too easy... like way to easy. Whatever spring system/ "locking" mechanism is in this, it's so weak I don't expect it to last long at all if it's this weak to begin with! This is a tool designed to reach into hard to get places. Last thing I want to do is either spend time fishing out, or worse... lose a 10-15 dollar Snap-on socket due to a poorly made ratchet handle! The finish is horrible compared to the others. The beam of the ratchet is nowhere as smooth as the pics. As a matter of fact, it's quite "sharp" or thin if you will. It feels very "mickey mouse". Yes, it's 1/4" stuff, but at its regular price point it should be comfortable in the hand and finished at least as nicely as all of the other tools I have from them. After all that's what you want out of your tools. It has a lot of potential... if it was made better! There is very few brands of tools I nestle between my Snap-on and Mac's... very few. These always had a place in my revered tool box drawers. I'm going to keep this as I got it on sale for 20 bucks plus I had a gift card on account. It's not worth the gas to drive to send it back. It'll make a nice ugly paperweight when the fan is on in the shop. After that I doubt it'll be useful as the adapter will probably fall out into the void. This is a big disappointment guys. The next time I get a crappy tool like this from Gearwrench, I promise I'll send it back and buy no more. Please...get with it and do better, huh?

Almost great, but issues
Great problem solving wrench with one really annoying problem (like others have mentioned) the 1/4" drive bit does not have enough tension to stay in. If you try to pull the socket off it comes out of the handle, if you get into a tight space and you have friction on the socket and pull the wrench back, the bit comes out. Seems to be a lock wire inside but not thick enough to keep it in place. Not even sure why it's removable, has no value except in the odd case where you need to put a bit in it, maybe other find it a good feature but the lack of retention is a problem for me. That all being said this has saved me in some tight spots.

Fantastic tool
As mentioned in other reviews, it's not for heavy duty use. Keeping that in mind, it's an awesome tool when you need to work in a tight space. I bought one for my work box and another one to keep at home.

Ottimo acquisto

Recomendo o produto!

Great quality tool for your money.
Great craftsmanship. Very nicely built. Looks as good as a Snap-on or MAC product. I would definitely purchase this ratchet again. Hoping I never need to, if the build quality is as good as their presentation. Detents on the flex head have positive engagement. Thumb wheel on the top is a nice bonus and works well. Very solid, well built tool. GearWrench makes very nice tools for their price point. Well worth the investment.

Really smooth ratchet and very good quality
My favourite ratchet. Nice length. Head angles to desired angle and locks in place. The ratchet is really smooth. It's very nice and compact and gets to hard to reach areas with ease
