Worked great for four months then switch went bad
Worked great for about four months and then stuck on pump mode. Tried cleaning, repositioning and testing multiple times and the float switch worked sometimes but not always. Had to disconnect the system.Until then I absolutely loved it!

Works Perfectly!
So I was looking for an ATO that would work for a rimmed tank that would keep the water at or above the bottom of the rim. I first ordered the Sumpless ATO Duetto and that thing would not work, so I decided to try this out because it was simple, less expensive, and looked like it would work on a tank with a rim. It works PERFECT! It keeps the water precisely at the level I want it and its quiet. Best money Ive spent so far on my new reef setup!

Magnet is Triggering the Pump On?
I installed and tested the unit, went away on business, came back to an overfilled tank and the pump on despite the floater being fully submersed. After further investigation, for some reason, the magnet mount is triggering the pump on. When I separate the magnets, the pump is triggered as expected by the float but when I have the magnets together, the pump comes on....contacting the seller for support (as there is none listed on the box or in the provided instructions.) Will update when I have more.

Put this on a 40 nano
UPDATE 6/10/19 (Initial 4 star review, note it is now a 1 star review (not 0 as that is not an option))ORIGINAL (4 star)...Seems solid, good construction, I've tried to mess it up and get it to malfunction and I cant, magnet is strong, pump is surprising for its size, has been working well on a 40b marine tank for the past week.Wouldn't use this for a big tank, but for nanos it seems more than adequate. Will update review if anything screws up.UPDATE 6/10/19 (1 star)...Last week I took about a gallon of water from the tank to frag with and, as expected, the ATO kicked in. I gave it a gallon plus topped it up with an additional 7 or so. Seems the ATO was stuck in 'On mode', the sump was over-filling, and my hardwood floor was being flooded with saltwater. (I'm using a temporary 10g reservoir during a tank transfer, thankfully.)Thinking the float switch might be too close to the return pump to other magnets I repositioned it to the other side of the sump, all on its own. Now things would be peachy! Huzzah!Annnnddd... over the weekend I woke up to 5-6 gallons of saltwater on the hardwood floors with a fully submerged float switch and the ATO pump still pumping away at air.I removed the unit, took a beer in hand, and tested 200 times (dunking float switch into a 5g bucket of water and removing). Twelve of those times the ATO motor stayed on, even when the float switch was in the 'off' position.LOOK! I did math for you people...Thats a 6% fail rate, and as ATOs usually go off 20+ times a day...Thankfully I didn't have this set up in the 28g reservoir.I contacted Coral Box customer service with a detailed description of the situation, and received this in return...Please share with your setting photo we checked在 2019年6月10日週Err... OK! I sent them a picture of the unit which I think is what they requested.UPDATE 6/11/19 (1 star)Received an email stating that the only solution is I go to their web store and purchase replacement parts, no warranty was implied.UPDATE 6/14/19 (Back up to 4 star with potential)Was contacted by the 3rd party seller (REEF BREEDERS). I was contacted directly by the owner with a sincere, clear, and generous offer of replacement of the unit with an upgrade. I was surprised to find that he was responding to mails on Friday evening and is in communication. This is not the way customer service should be, but a bit over the top. A+

float switch randomly activates draining reservoir into system
out of the box looked great little pump works very well. set it up on a small nuvo tank worked without issue first night. went to work came back to an empty reservoir and an overfilled nano. luckily only put a gallon res. on it to make sure. and its a tank that only has starter fish no coral so no issue of desalinization causing any major issues. my carpet is nice and wet my desk is nice and wet luckily it ran away from my 3k plus gaming pc.

Not recommended
Just like others I have found that the mounting magnet causes the ATO to run continuously. This makes it very difficult to use this product. Now I will have to replace this with a better device costing me more money. I would avoid this product until the switch issues are worked out.

It works
Works as long as you check top off container and keep it full. Little noisey with gurgle on shut down but expected.Been a month and not one problem yet good buy and bang for budget!
