I live in a warm/hot climate and keep these in the car for snacks on road trips. They never melt and are a wonderful snack.

I've been looking for a natural food bar for years that has a sufficient amount of protein, carbs, and natural sugar. LARABAR makes good natural snack bars, however the base component of those bars are dates, which while they have a good amount of fiber have a high amount of sugar. Compared to LARABAR's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip bar, the Bob's Red Mill peanut butter chocolate and oats bar has 7 grams less of sugar, one more gram of protein and 10 more calories. I first found these bars at Sprout's Organic Food Market, where they were just one dollar a pop. Between the delicious natural flavor, the nutritional value and the quality of the ingredients, there is no match. I pop one of these every time before I hit the gym, and I can't recommend it to friends and family enough.

So many protein bars upset my stomach. These do not bother me and they taste great! I will sometimes break one in half and have that before a workout, then have the other half afterward. Take one with me for times I know I'm not going to have time to grab lunch. Great for a snack as well.

The taste is good and doesnt have an after taste like some bars. Like the crunchy chocolate pieces too :)

Tastiest snack bar out there. Healthy organic ingredients with no preservatives.

Great taste, low sugar, great ingredients. We have purchased these more than once.**Unfortunately the bars come in a fragile, thin paper box and the box is shipped in a plastic bag. Our last shipments have been disappointing because the thin box bursts open during shipping and the bars are loose inside the shipping bag, smashed, flattened and bent. The bars are individually wrapped, and the wrappers are still sealed, so the bar itself is safe to eat but nobody wants to eat a hunk of mush, no matter how good it is. It is very unappetizing.PLEASE SHIP THE BARS IN A BOX!

Delivered in an open box. I won't eat the contents because I don't know if it has been compromised
