As a jump rope it’s great. And you can make it perfect for an extra buck or two.As the description itself say the cable will be quickly damaged on a asphalt or concrete surface. You can completely prevent that with 10 half inch pieces of 1/4” drop irrigation tube, as shown on the attached photo. It not only prevents any damage to the cable but also favorably changes the center of (rotational) mass so the rope functions better.I removed a star because the designers could have thought for that and include the tubing in the product for less than a nickel cost.

I bought this rope because my other rope was not working well for me. I had been working on my double unders and could only do singles at a time. I put this rope together and tried it out and immediately knocked out 5 in a row. The rope is slightly heavier than the normal “speed rope” and I like that it doesn’t have rotating bearings. I’d definitely recommend this if you are struggling with other ropes. Comes with 3 ropes.

The first time I used this after receiving it (and subsequent times after), the handle would not lock properly and the wire would slip out mid jump. As you can imagine, this was quite annoying.Additionally, after about 1 hour of use total (outside/on concrete), the rope began to fray and expose the metal wire. The coating of the wire is not as good as ropes I've had in the past. I will use it until each wire wears down but unfortunately that doesn't seem like it will be very long from now. If I had an indoor place to use it, I would imagine it would fair much better.

Recieved the product however, there were no handles in the box? Just cables. It looks like the product is advertised with handles as well, no? Lame.* rating changed to 5 starsUpdate - toco sent me another jump rope this time with handles. I've used them for a few days now and i have to say they are really good quality. I have a few pair and these are definitely my favorite. Nice weight to the handles and the rope itself is extremely durable. .

Great jump rope. Handle is much thinner than I though but works better. Very slim so easy to carry. Great coating on wire is hard to kink. Easy to coil to store in bag. Extra tips and metal fasteners are nice to have. Smoother to use then others which were more expensive. My last plastic one rope broke after one month. Good price too so highly recommend it.

It is a lightweight product and easy to assamble, every time I go to the gym I take it with me.

It's as good as the best that I have used in the past .I have seen many of changes over 30 years of using jump ropes and Designs are getting better with time. this one almost got five stars but I am hard on products. so I'm going to wait and see how long it lasts first before I can give the extra store

It is very good, I like it, I was going to use it to jump rope to lose weight.
