Disney's Little Einsteins Mission: Where's June?: Mission: Where's June? Hardcover – April 5, 2006

Little Einsteins is absolute great quality in so many ways---both in cartoon on DVD/television on Disney channel or book. Today I also bought the CD Musical Missions and look forward to listening to it in the car as we sing to the songs together.The book is delightful with the different ways you can read this as a regular book or learning tool. The colors are great---top quality up with the RoliePolieOlie books as well.Yes, the Little Einsteins are more expensive as are the RoliePolieOlie books, but what can we do? It's delightful to have a variety of books to read. Anything that keeps the yearning of a child to read more is well worth it because it's too easy to just turn on the television instead. Children have to learn to love books which will help them in many more ways than passive viewing of a television can.

We received this book and it is an instant hit. So much so we now we have to have a world map stuck up in miss's bedroom! And it has been the catalyst for learning about the countries mentioned! The toy is ok - it does look flimsy but they seem to last well - we have had the colours book for months and no problems depsite my daughter's rough handling. I tend to use it and read around the text quite often. It is a wonderful book that introduces so many concepts. Sit with your child and take the ideas further! I thoroughly recommend this book from age 2 onwards!

This product was a great find for a great price. My daughter loves Little Einstein’s even though they are no longer airing and it’s really hard to find their toys. It arrived on time and was in good condition.

My four-year-old loves the show and loved the book even more. But the book needs a better editor, and every time I read it to him, something bugs the heck out of me.So the concept is that you find letters from various places and those letters spell out the place where June is hiding. Sorry for the spoiler :) but it's A-F-R-I-C-A.The places they visit areAustraliaFranceRussaIndiaCosta RicaAntarcticaSo the first letters spell Africa, right? But no! In the book, they find different letters on the pages with the names of the places ("A" is found in France, for example). The editor missed that, I guess.So this is more of a rant than a dislike of the book. It's fine for a 4-year-old. It just bugs me is all! ;)

I will note that the publisher states that the book is good for four year olds and up....That being said, my 2.5 year old son had such a hard time keeping the cord from the rocket out of his way as he flipped pages that he ripped the pages. Frustrating.For those that purchase the book for younger hands, I recommend cutting Rocket's bungee cord, even if there is a slight risk Rocket could get misplaced.

I was worried the book may not have come with the "Rocket" but thankfully it did. We really just needed the rocket as we had it before and lost it- so thank you very much. We are all happy in our house with this purchase. :)

If you are looking at this at Amazon, then you are interested in it. The low price I paid on Amazon, around five dollars, makes this a no brainer. Even at full price it is a fun book. My daughter loves the Little Einsteins and I don't mind them either. I am very picky about the educational value of toys and books.

My three-year old loves the Little Einsteins and he loves this book. Rocket is his favorite, and he has lots of fun using the rocket magnifier to identify the clues. I have been very impressed with how much my son has gotten out of this book.

もうすぐ三歳になる息子に買いました。いま一番好きなキャラクター・テレビ番組は、『リトルアインシュタイン』です。今はディズニーチャンネルで月〜金まで毎朝やっているので、ＤＶＤレコーダーに録画してよく見ています(^^)この絵本には、虫眼鏡状になったロケットがついていて、ページをめくるごとに、そのロケット（虫眼鏡）をあてて、小さくなっているジューンを見つけるというようになってます。ただ、虫眼鏡がなくてもすぐ見つけられるんで、うちの息子はロケットで見つけることはしません(^_^;)でもすごくかわいいですね。これとほぼ同じ内容の『Mission: Color Discoveries』も買って持っていますが、二冊とも息子はよく「読んで〜」と持ってきます。
