This drill is an absolute beast! The 9 Amp motor provides incredible power for any job, no matter how tough. The handle is super comfortable and feels great in your hand, even after extended use. It's an incredibly reliable and durable tool, I totally recommend it for any professional or DIY enthusiast!

Works great and will for a long time. I bought a master mechanic drill a few years ago to mix drywall mud and it burnt up in a few months. My co workers burned up on the first use!! My boss has a few of these that have lasted over 10 years. Worth the money.

My Dewalt 20v works but I could smell the motor getting hot. I mix thinset, tile mortar, sheetrock mud enough to justify buying this beast. Thus has nice handle placement, speed control that makes it much better for mixing 5 gallons of mud at a time.

Dad finally asked for his back. So I got one just like it. Between the two of us, we used his dewalt to mix the light concrete, thinset, and grout for 1 basement, 1 shower pan, 6 bathrooms, 2 utility rooms. Very solid chuck. They improved (IMHO) the plug style between his and mine. Mine has a "regular" sized plug that allows me to have multiple tools to plug into my 3 plug extension cord. His had this chunky round plug.

Powerful corded drill... it'll mix cement no problem!

Mixing mortar can be difficult. Especially for small projects. I tried using a standard drill and it did NOT end well. Yes, I got more mortar on my clothes than anything else!! So, I decided to use a fork...and it worked pretty well. But took a very, VERY long time. I did not like being a mortar forker. There HAD to be a better way!! And BEHOLD! Dewalt has a solution to my mortar forking problem. This is an awesome drill. I would definitely recommend buying this to help all your mortar needs.

I’ve mixed joint compound with cheap drills over the years and they work, they basically do the job. But this is a world of difference. Just so much easier, cleaner, and reliable. Worth the extra money.

Good power, easy to easy, no performance issues so far. Wish they had a spot molded into the frame for the key (like how most DeWalt vacuums have a place for accessories and hoses).

Have used these for years for mixing. Great drills, powerful and lots of torque. Perfect for mixing plaster or thinset. Professional quality. Different handle positions so you can customize your grip. They are not brushless but brushes last a long time if not abused. Bit bigger than makita mixing drill but not heavier and nicer feel.
