GREAT product, ridiculous sizing and disorganized marketing
Quality and fit is wonderful, IF you get the right Three Dots sizing (as other reviewers have commented, Three Dots size charts are very unique--see below). You can really tell these are made in the USA, not in China! I have several. Not very see-through, even in lighter colors. These do stretch a lot over the course of a day as you wear them so become looser, to the point that a very slim, flattering fit to start out with becomes a baggy fit if you wear the shirt more than one day between washes. After washing & drying, the fit is right back to slim again. I have not had these long, but they do hold up great in the laundry so far--and I wash on warm and tumble dry! So far, I would say they're really worth the money (sometimes certain colors are on amazing sales as well). The boatneck is cut very well, too--flattering, not too wide (but as with any boatneck, watch your bra straps), not too low. Love it! Below, I will just list a few cons for buying from Three Dots in general:-The sizing is so strange. I am petite (5' 3" and very slender), and I have a very small chest: 32B. I typically wear an XXS or XS in blouses (sz. 0-2), and I shop in the petites or even juniors departments. But the right fit for me with these Three Dots shirts is LARGE!! I laugh every time I put one on; I NEVER wear anywhere close to large in anything, ever, but large is my perfect size with this company! I cannot imagine who these shirts were really designed for. Take a look at the size chart and you will see that the dimensions are way off from a traditional woman's "hourglass"--or even pear-shaped--figure. Proportionately, they design these huge in the waist and tiny in the hips. But fortunately, they fit much better than the size-chart leads you to believe! :) :) I'm wondering if the size charts are off to accommodate the significant stretch factor, since these do stretch out a lot as they are worn (but spring right back after washing).-The sale of Three Dots shirts is very disorganized on Amazon. You will find 3-5 listings of the same exact item (if you search for Three Dots British Boatneck, for example). What is the difference between all the listings; and if they're not different, why aren't they consolidated together? Then, when you go to select size and color, it is very time-consuming because they do not show upfront which sizes are available in which colors (usually, if you select your size from a drop-down menu, the colors not available in that size will automatically be x-ed out). Here, you have to click on every color individually to see if it is available in the size you want.Once you are used to these inconveniences of buying from Three Dots, you'll be a satisfied shopper with a high-quality, well-fitting product. And most have free returns, so if you have to do a little trial-and-error at first to figure out your unique Three Dots size, you can! :)

Beautiful silhouette: size up if in between
I was really uncertain what size to order. My bust measurement is 35-1/2 inches, bra size 32D, so I'm almost always uncertain whether to order small or medium. Does a brand run large or small? I ordered a small of the 3 Dots English t-shirt. I prefer a close fit without being tight, which this is, but if it shrinks one iota in the wash it will be too narrow through the shoulders. Next one I order will be a medium and I anticipate that will be the correct fit. With this particular shirt, the coral cream, the color is not well-represented in the photo. It appears to be a sort-of coral nude color but in reality it is more like an orange sherbet color. I can wear it, it's just not exactly what I wanted. Also, while the fabric has a substantial enough feel to it, it's not quite opaque. I love the cut of this shirt for the versatile 3/4 sleeve length with a nice taper, shaped in the waist, and the flattering bateau neckline.

Good price-performance ratio and fits
I don't think the size is weird. I usually wear XS for most brands (XXS for J crew and Ann taylor cause their sizes are too flattery. Despite the flood of comments complaining about the tight cut, I ordered XS just to try my luck. It fits perfectly. I really like the cut---not too long, not too short, and it flatters the waistline and the back, almost made me feel I was wearing a Cordoba from Wolford, if I ignore the material...The material is above average but good for the price: not thin, as you cannot see through it, but certainly not look very expensive, especially if you pay attention to the fabric detail and the hem.Overall good price-performance ratio, since I really want a boatneck white T, this works.

Perfect for flat chested women
Like the other reviewers said, this tee runs very small. The bigger "the girls," the smaller it fits. I wear a size small (I'm 123 lbs, 5'4") and because of the reviews, I ordered both a medium and a large. Had to laugh when I put on the medium (or should I say, when I TRIED to put on the medium) and the large still pulled between the boom-booms. If you don't have much up front, I would still say to order up one size but if you're stacked, order up 2 sizes.Which is really ridiculous. What is this vendor thinking???The quality and fabric were very nice so I gave them 3 stars instead of 2.I ordered the "electric pink" because of the color in the photo. But the photo was waaaay wrong. When they say "electric," they mean ELECTRIC. Almost peeled the shine off my eyeballs, the color was so strong.I sent it all back for a refund. Not sure if I trust Three Dots to try them again. Very disappointed.

Afraid it would be too small, but fits true to size and perfectly!
I ordered a few of these tops when they were on sale, apprehensive because so many reviews said they ran very small. Only size small was on sale, and while Small is my usual size, I haven't ever tried this brand. In the end, it was perfect. I love them! The material is strong and soft, and fits perfectly. I don't like baggy tops, nor do I like skin tight ones, and these are form-fitting but in a classy way. I am usually a size small in tops, often a 6 because of my broad shoulders (thanks, swimming and grandma). (Size 4 is too tight across the shoulders, usually.) I am 5'3.5" tall, with a 36B bust and 29" waist. I am a bit short-waisted, with long legs, and this top hits my right at my hips. I think some could find that too short. But for layering and casual wear, this is a great top. I'm glad I took the chance!
