It is bow string wax it came promptly on time and nice packaging it does what it's supposed to do it wasn't dried up it wasn't melted it wasn't rock hard it was exactly what I look for in a bow string wax I use a lot of different brands of most relaxing this is by far the best the tubes are smaller yes about the size of chapstick container but are the value you can't beat it will recommend and will buy again

This seems to work very well. I'm using it on my generic 80 pound pistol crossbow with the original string waxing the string every 15 shots. Others who have my crossbow or one similar have reported that the string broke or began to fray after 5-15 shots. After 50 shots, there are absolutely no signs of wear on the string and the shots are consistent. A little bit goes a long way, so for the price this stuff seems great!

When I was looking at buying a crossbow recently I read about people using wax to preserve the strings on their crossbows with some type of wax. I use this on the rail and string and I'm pleased with it. I haven't seen signs of the string on my 80lb pistol crossbow fraying. I decided I wanted to buy $5 worth of wax rather than a $5 string. This product contains beeswax, there are recipes online for making your own wax, but I have news for you. Beeswax is messy and expensive. I have access to 20lbs of beeswax, free to me, but it wasn't worth the mess. I value my time at $12 an hour. So the opportunity cost was higher than the benefits to me. This lube saved me time and money. It doesn't bother me that each tube only has .15 ounces of lube. There is plenty to go around. Maybe my experience and preferences will help you make up your mind if you want to buy this.

Bought this for my first crossbow because it didn’t come with any and realized I needed it after doing some research because it provides protection, lubrication, and increases life of your bow or crossbow string. I like that the tubes are like Chapstick tubes so they’re easy to bring with you or store with your crossbow.

So far so good for this product. It’s actually persisted on the crossbow rail a lot longer than I had anticipated. It works into the string fairly well with a little warmth created by friction with your fingers. Always a good day when you can find a product to pull double duty.

Good to keep your bow strings well lubricated. Good price will definitely buy again.

You need this stuff to maintain your bow strings. Bow strings get expensive so use this to get more time out of your strings. I saw some people use chap stick and I guess that would work if you have nothing else otherwise I recommend you get some of this because it is made specifically for the strings and rails.

great compact alternative to the big bulky bow wax that's out there its the size of chap stick tube .but if i had of known my local walmart sales this product i would probley bought it there instead of waiting 3 days 4 it . buy hey what can u say when u hate standing in long check out lines or having to self check out . all in all im satisfied with this product and how i purchased it

A must product if you Crossbow , you should always have this product with your hunting or target shooting accessories . This products helps to improve performance on any crossbow . Great product at a great price .

Fantastic stuff. Only a fool would dry fire a bolt without waxing. A wee tip.. when you string your crossbow put on gloves and rub glue into the fibers. This will keep them from fraying..Got that bit from a seasoned bowmaster. Cheers! and good hunting! ;}
