The Schutt air XP Pro VTD II has a traditional standoff shell. It has enhanced TPU cushioning and new interlink jaw pads. This is an inflatable helmet. The helmet has a twist release system for the addition of a face guard. This helmet is 5 star rated with the va Tech Study.

Oh well helmet functions like a helmet
Ordered the Gold color helmet... the image displayed is more bright yellow, and appeared to be the color that I was aiming for. Color turned out to be a few shades darker. As stated in the description no facemask is included. Oh well helmet functions like a helmet. Shipped and arrived on time as expected, therefore its worthy of at least 3 stars.

Good helmet when they mess up the price.
They lowered the price on a maroon unit to 50% off. I bought it but when I wanted a second one the price had gone back to normal...

Nasty stickers
This item comes with a huge nasty white sticker that leaves a lot of residue. Non warning stickers should be non stick/ easy to remove. Especially if they are white.
