Q: What materials are these made of? is there any leather?

Not leather but a very soft but strong fabric combination, I would highly recommended these and will purchase again when I need a replacement.

A medium should be okay. I use medium for a 21cm hand

They are a tight, secure fit while letting you have fingers exposed. Slightly padded with a surface within the palm to aid grip. They would be just the job for the tough murder obstacles.
