Because of the purple and peachy pink fabric tags, and the print fabric you may think this look best for a girl. I ordered this toy as a security blanket, and liked the colors for the baby girl for whom I purchased this gift. When I needed a gift for a boy, I chose to order the Molasses Sloth security blanket. Perhaps you'd prefer the Itsy Glitzy Fawn rattle by Taggies, which is a fawn color.
