This is a great dog bed!
A couple years ago I purchased one of these Maze dog beds and a Coolaroo for my one dog because I wanted one outside and one inside and I couldn't decide which brand to go with. The Maze is a much better bed, in my opinion. The coolaroo is easier to put together but the screws tend to get loose and then the bed legs become unstable. The Maze was not difficult to put together, I am not a "tool person" or mechanically inclined at all, it just takes a little wrench and tightening 8 bolts, really no big deal!My dog with the Coolaroo is 8 years old and not very active so the screw loosening is not due to her activity. I find that I have to tighten them every month to two months when all she does is sleep on it. The Maze dog bed is very stable, I screwed it together a few years ago, have moved it around all over the house and it is just as stable as the day I put it together. When we got a puppy I ordered another of the Maze beds because I have been so happy with the first one. With an extremely active 40lb, 5 month old puppy this bed has withstood her abuse! She does jump on it, and chew on it, and scratch at it...all the things puppies do which you wish they wouldn't...and it's still in great shape. I am sure the coolaroo would have collapsed under her running leaps, it is simply a tougher bed.I do really like the style of this bed keeping the dogs off the floor. Living in the desert SW it's really nice to keep them up off the cold tile in the winter and let air circulate around them in the hot summer.

good value dog bed
I have owned this for around 3 months, the product itself is very good, exactly what I needed and expected. My dog has been using it constantly, it does not smell, it has no tears and it's clean. He would normally chew on different bedding types so if you have a chewer like mine then this is a great solution. He's around 40 kgs, he looks to be quite comfortable although if they offered a bigger size bed I would have bought it. I like that I can bring it inside the house at night then take it outside during the day. I think it's good value for money, something similar costs close to double in stores. I should also point out drawbacks I have experienced:There was a part missing when the item first arrived and it was a nightmare trying to contact the company. The company is in America and it was frustrating to phone from Australia - time zones, area codes etc. When I did get through, it appears the company may go by a different name to what is advertised on amazon and I was basically given the run around. Also there was no email details left on product packaging so I emailed amazon who were absolutely wonderful in organising a replacement. Now, back to the product, you will need another person to help you assemble it. It takes some grunting to get it together, the instuctions are of no use.All in all, despite the initial worries, I'm happy I bought this for my dog. I can see it lasting for many years to come.

Rest at its Best
I have tried many types of beds, pads and pillow type of sleeping area for my dogs. I have 3 rescues. A small Jack Russell, a Large Golden Retriever and an even bigger Maremma. The little guy likes it warm so a pad was ideal for him...the big girls need it cool. I wanted something to get them off the floor where a hot spot develops after awhile.I tried the Cool Cot and it was an instant hit. Assembly was straight forward and the one wrench needed to tighten the 4 nuts was included. The materials used in the manufacture are of good quality. No odors, sharp pieces or mis-aligned parts.Even cleaning it is a snap. One problem that I personally have is that the big dogs rush to get on the cot first. Leaving one to wait her turn. I will definitely order another so BOTH can enjoy this marvelous cot. They stay cool and sleep soundly. The large size fits both dogs well. The Golden is breed standard and weighs about 68 pounds. The Maremma is tall, but slim and comes in about 75 pounds. A larger or heavier breed will do well with the XL.I highly recommend the Maze Cool Cot.

****THIS IS SIMPLY FALSE ADVERTISING**** and the product should be discontinued or photo should be updated (CORRECTED) The "LARG
The LARGE size should be called "MEDIUM" as the bed is NOT sized as shown in the photo.FACT - The German Shepard Dog in this AD has been shrunk and photo shopped in the ad photo to mislead you into buying this product. My average sized German Shepard will not fit laying down, not even close. The dog in the ad has to have been shrunk down to 50-60% size.****THIS IS SIMPLY FALSE ADVERTISING**** and the product should be discontinued or photo should be updated (CORRECTED)The "LARGE" bed is only 33x38" and a good size for dogs up to 40-50 lbs, maybe 60lbs (at most). The construction seems heavy-duty enough for larger/heavier dogs, but the size is awkwardly small.I am very unhappy and plan to return the purchase.

Great cot and great customer service
We bought cots last year from our local pet store that didn't hold up at all. Have been very happy with this one. The frame is very sturdy, love the color (taupe as pictured), and it was simple to put together. We had one faulty part, and I'll admit I was skeptical, having read a previous review about customer service, and was preparing myself to deal with the return process. But, I had an immediate response to my email and within 3 days I received a package of connectors and screws, more than enough to complete the job.I found the cool cot easy to assemble, and it stays assembled. No moving parts. It is much faster to assemble if you have a small power drill. One reviewer noted that he didn't care for the feet, but if you are putting it on a wood floor, you could easily use one of the plastic cups with felt pads that are frequently used on furniture Or just use some adhesive backed felt or plastic floor protector from any hardware store or wal-mart.I now own 4 of these cots in two different residences/climates, and they are perfect for us.
