Works like a champ!! Didn't need the bracket that came with it, its the same one that's on the P218G Onan engine. My application is on a John Deere 318 tractor. Good product for the price.

Ignition coil does not fit in original mounting location. The correct style coil has been discontinued from JD. This new coil got my tractor going agin and it was reasonable on cost.

A customer brought us an old 316 John Deere mower that wouldn't start, so we did some research and found this part was bad an put it in and the mower purrs like a kitten again. Our customer was so happy he recently bought a 332 John Deere and wants us to get it going this winter.

It fit my Onan but only after extension of the coil wires because the coil case is totally round therefore modifications are required, at least in my Deere 420. If I had the time I would remotely mount it somewhere else like the firewall. It did work however.
