This axe is perfect! I was looking for a good Viking looking 1 handed axe and this one seemed good as a costume piece + a functional axe, so I gave it a go.It came wrapped VERY well! The box it came in was wrapped in plastic, then inside the box the axe itself was wrapping in plastic and then that was wrapped in paper. Had no worries of it being damaged during delivery, so that was a big plus. The sheath was individually wrapped as well in plastic.After unwrapping it all, I was very pleased with the craftsmanship of everything. The handle seems very sturdy, but could maybe use a bit of leather or grip tape for a better grip, since its a little slick. Nothing bad enough to count a star off. It does have a small hole at the bottom for wrist straps to be ran through as well. The head is on very snuggly. Its glued and wedged in so that sucker ain't going no where. The axe blade is VERY sharp. A LOT sharper than what I figured it was going to be, so that was a pleasant surprise for me.The sheath is a good bit nicer than the one in the product picture. Has some nice details on it and it's got riveted snaps to hold it all together instead of having to tie it down. Another big plus, esp for longitivity sake! It's also got a left handed belt loop, so if you're a righty like myself, just know that.Overall if you are looking for a good one handed axe in looks and functionality, then this is perfect! 10/10. My only regret in buying this is that I didn't buy 2! Lol.

The finish is not perfect but the Value for the Money Definitely is! Cuts 100% better than the crkt Feyr, Holds a edge well, used it to lop off some limbs(100 foot of treeline) and take down a few small trees(3"-4") maintained it's edge. It will take the place of the Feyr on my 4Wheeler as kit.

So given the price, one should know better, but I was hopeful... I don't know why.Pros:1. its an axe.2. Its made of metal/steel.3. Somewhat aesthetically pleasing, except...Cons:1. The ground edge was polished, which at first worked to hide the unevenness of the grind. Anyone who has used an angle grinder or bench grinder knows that if you are not cautious you have valleys and peaks. Such as this did.2. Right in the middle of the blade was a flat spot.3. Poor handle attachment.After fixing the peaks and valleys, getting rid of the flat spot, and reprofiling the edge, it was time for testing.I'm glad it was light testing. The head came loose and while it did not fall off, I was not swinging that hard.I tapped the handle into the socket to reseat it. Then drove a new wedge down on their wedge. The manufacturers wedge sank another 1/4 inch.Overall, this looks like a beginner project, or mass churned product with little or no care to craftmanship.If you want a project axe, then I'd say purchase this one. If you want one ready to go from the box, I'd search other places.

Strong and good value nice fit and quality

The poll on the axe was cracked when I got it. I was looking forward to trying it out on a camping trip but had to leave it home. Not to mention the handle seems mounted backward and the handle it bent and warped

The axe still works and serves its purpose. However it’s scuffed and I just opened the box, was covered in oily stuff and there’s marks on the wood from sharpie? It’s very sturdy but still just doesn’t look like it was supposed to make it out. Also the cover doesn’t fit right

Great shape and a fully functional axe, was a bit full out of the box and showed some signs of use but glad to have it
