Bought these to try due to the price and not at all disappointed. I am rather surprised at some of the 1-star reviews and have experienced none of the problems listed such as spotting on glassware or not washing correctly. Also, the bizarre nit-picking issue of empty wrappers which I presume would not alter the number of tables in the box as these are probably filled to a weight.On short or long washes they work fine and just as good as the more expensive brands, which we have tried but any difference not really noticeable. The issue of spotting non-existent but if people do not fill the rinse aid and set it correctly or add the correct salt level for the areas water hardness then this will happen with any brand of tablet, this has happened when our rinse aid ran out.With regards to the tablets not cleaning the dishes etc. well usually this is down to loading the dishwasher incorrectly or overfilling it or a dirty filter. Again we have not had any issue with these tablets and will definitely buy them again if the price stays roughly the same.

Never used these Astonish dishwasher tablets but was pleasantly impressed and surprised. I always use Finish but after reading the raving reviews I thought I would give these a try. As soon as the cycle was finished and dried I noticed a difference straight away when I opened the door. My glasses and cutlery were sparkling and even my white crockery had a shine like never before. As long as the price remains low I will continue to buy these from now on.

Delivery time was very good. Happy with its quality too. Well packed. Each tab is individually packed into wrappers meaning the tablets don’t melt or stick together if you put your wet hands into the packet or accidentally water gets in. Yes, it does mean that you will need to unwrap each tablet every time you load a dishwasher however I personally didn’t mind that. Being cheaper, of course it misses the rinse aid which is integrated in some other slightly more expensive alternatives.

For my table top dishwasher these are brilliant. I used to use a liquid sold on Amazon but the price increase has made it a poor choice now so I use these.I use half a tablet per wash, I know you're not supposed to break the tablets but using a whole one is just wasteful. No white film, tea stains removed, works on really baked on grotty dishes, other items come out sparkling and clean. Very easy to use, just bung it in and bang it on.I don't notice any fragrance either but that's a me problem.Do the job properly at a reasonable price.

I bought these because they had good reviews and seemed value for money. We also use other Astonish products at work and they're good.I can't really say the same for these. In general, they clean ok. However, I'm finding suds in the tub at the end of the cycle. There's a film often being left on dishes, but it's most obvious on teflon pots, but it's definitely there on white plate.I soak and rinse them off (ok, I don't get everything) before they go in and I'm finding there's often food still on the the dishes. I know what the website says, but I don't beleive it's the dishwasher, because I never had this problem when I was using supermarket brand tablets.No suds, no film, no food.I'm also not happy about the plastic they come wrapped in, as it contributes to waste. I prefer the film that dissolves.The tablets themselves are crumbling in their packets, so when i open them, they're ending up all over the floor or all over the tub. That's no good as they're get washed away in the first rinse, so I'm often having to use two tablets.I'm not wasting them, my care home work has said they'll take them, but I'm going to back to supermarket brands.

One of the best and reliable dishwashing detergents around

I never thought I’d find myself writing a review about dishwasher tablets, but these were so bad I had to warn people. After 2-3 uses I noticed a thick white powder building up on my dishes. I thought it must be my dishwasher needing cleaning so I ran a cleaner through it and made sure the filter was clean etc. However, I tried running the dishes through again with another tab and it made it 10x worse! I realised it was these tabs and bought a pack of my usual brand. I ran the dishes again with these but it still wouldn’t get the powder off. I had to scrub everything (hard) with washing up liquid and even then after putting it through the washer again there were still some items that had powder residue on them.These images are after putting them through a wash with the other brand. The images don’t actually show how bad it is but you can see they are far from clean.Absolute nightmare, save yourself the time and money and avoid these… I won’t even give them away, they’re going straight in the bin as wouldn’t do that to my neighbours!

As good as any other on the market.
