Hello, World! Ocean Life

I bought this book for my early childhood program for babies & toddlers, as I like to give parents ideas and inspiration about books for their little one. This is one of the best ocean/beach themed books I've come across, ever. The illustrations are very colorful and easily recognizable (ie: the whale actually looks like a whale). But what I love most about this book is it gives the basic name to the animal, which is great for babies and very young toddlers, but then it gives a few fun and & easy facts about the animal that would be very interesting to a pre-schooler 2-5 yrs old. I highly recommend this one for your home library!!

My three year old fell in love with the Hello, World! books when we read the Dinosaur edition. After that he asked for more (the collection is located on the back of the book) and of course I had to get this one for him since he's in love with everything ocean related (thank you Baby Shark). The books are so easy and fun to read and I love the tidbits of wisdom that are sprinkled throughout the book. The book is visually stunning and so fun to read! Will add more of the Hello, World! books to our collection :)

I love all of the Hello, World! books by Jill McDonald that I've bought so far. They're bright, attractive, informative, and explain things to children in a simple manner but not dumbed down.

My 2 year old daughter really likes this book. I’d say it’s okay. However I just finished reading a book about literacy, and a big component of it talked about building a child’s schema. So I feel like this book will be a positive contribution to my daughters schema when she gets ready to read. There’s so few nonfiction books for toddlers as is.

My 10 month old son loves all the vibrant colors and the length and amount of text is perfect in keeping his attention. We have a few Hello, World! books and this one is our favorite so far.

Such a fun, informational book for toddlers. We got this right after our trip to the beach and my one year old loves it. The illustrations are beautiful and very visually stimulating. Great purchase

We love the Hello World Series, some are better than others but this one is defiantly one of the best we have so far.

This book is super cute and educational. The illustrations are bright and exciting. My daughter really enjoyed it. She was able to distinguish all the animals in the book as well which is great bc some illustrations in other books are not as accurate. I will be ordering the other books by this other. They're already in my cart!!!

Another stunning book from this series, I can't praise it highly enough. My son loves this and the solar system one and has learnt a lot from them.

We are a huge fan of the Hello World board books. This a great addition to the collection. These books have lovely illustrations. The writing is catchy and informative. Love the extra little addition of info on each page. Even my husband and I learn a thing or two from these books! (Ex. A baby shark is called a pup... who knew!) Would highly reccomend. Daughter loves them!

I purchased this book for my 2 year old as part of his airplane entertainment package for our recent trip to the Caribbean. He absolutely loves this book! We read it several times during the course of the trip and he was even looking for some of the sea creatures while swimming in the ocean. Glad I purchased it!

purchased for my son's playschool group (ages 3/4) for their ocean/beach theme they are currently on. I read it and it is an easy read with bright, beautiful pictures that should easily keep their attention, while they learn something about different sea creatures, etc

Bright attractive illustrations, learning built into each page, a book Mom and toddler will love. This is our second book in this series and I would highly recommend them!

Hard cover, really nice book, my autistic 4 year olds just love it!!! And easy for them to tell the picture and enjoy the book!
