As good as other brands
We really liked this Dreumex brand of pumice handsoap. It’s not as thick as the other big brand and is nowhere near as messy as the bars of Lava soap. The pumice particles felt a little bigger other brands, but that’s okay as this made it easier to rinse off without feeling like you didn’t get all the grit off your hands the first time around. Cleans up grimy hands very well without tearing up the skin from too much mechanical exfoliation. Leaves behind a slight orange scent which fades quickly. The huge bottles are cumbersome and way too big to leave out on a bathroom counter. Best bet is to transfer some of this soap into a much smaller pump bottle and refill that as necessary.

The best of the various orange hand cleaners if your hands are really dirty
There are three very popular orange hand cleaners, Dreumex (this product), GOJO and Fast Orange. I use all three and they are shown in the picture below. My favorite is Fast Orange because it not only does a decent job of cleaning, but it also includes aloe, lanolin, glycerin, and other skin conditioners. It is the only cleaner of the three that leaves my hands feeling great. However, Fast Orange is not a very effective cleaner if your hands are really filthy with oil and grease. In contrast, Dreumex is not only loaded with plenty of pumice (the most of any of the hand cleaners) and includes a number of cleansing agents that dissolve the gunk very effectively. This is what makes Dreumex the best of the orange hand cleaners. The only negative is that you may wish to use lotion after using it because it pulls the natural oils out of your hand. If you use it more than once a day, your hands will show the effects. So I keep Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion nearby, and that solves the problem. I don't wish to make Dreumex sound like a nasty hand cleaner as it is not. Dreumex is by far the most effective at removing grease, oil and cyano acrylate glue, the latter being my least favorite junk I get on my hands. Dreumex is the only orange hand cleaner that removes glue effectively.

Great Heavy Duty Hand Cleaner
When my husband works in the garage on his project car I absolutely forbid him from touching anything in the house until his hands are perfectly clean. This is after years of dealing with him leaving grease and oil marks all over the house and me running around after him wiping everything down repeatedly. Now he changes out of his project clothes in the laundry room and washes his hands and arms down with heavy duty soap before leaving the laundry room. This is a great product. He doesn't leave grease and oil marks everywhere after using it (unlike some of the cheaper pumice cleaners we've tried). You don't have to use a ton for it to be effective and it's very cost-efficient. Highly recommend for heavy duty hand washing, especially for those who work on cars and tend to get highly dirty with grease and oil.

cleans hands well
I do nearly all car maintenance and repairs myself and don't wear gloves typically. I usually wash with dawn dish soap, but the grease can end up being on my hands for days. So far, I'm impressed with the extra cleanliness the pumice provides over regular soap.1. Cleans well.2. Has an orangey scent to it... I'm somewhat sensitive to scents and its not overpowring to me. Also the smell is gone quickly unless you stick your hands right up to your face.3. My hands feel a bit weird after using... they feel leathery, not sure if thats good or bad actually. They definitely feel clean.4. Four gallons is A LOT for residential use. This will last a very long time.

Awesome
This stuff is great. It smells like Orange essential oils. I HATE the other stuff my husband uses, it stinks like rotten over sweetened oranges. This has a grit in it that helps exfoliate your skin. It leaves your skin feeling amazing! I had to try it after feeling my husbands hands and now I use it after I garden or paint. Love this stuff!

Cuts Grease on Hands
Review for 4-packMy husband has a shop and is always needing hand cleanser. His favorite has always been the orange pumice. The orange pumice really cuts the grease and helps him get his hands clean. This set is a 4-pack of 1 gallon each.
