IceToolzCable Cutters, Steel, 0mm - 7mm Cutting Range, Bicycle Tool

I wasn't expecting these to be great and on the first couple of uses to cut a bicycle brake cable it frayed and cut badly but managed to get a clean cut after a while, need to apply more pressure and quicker than a more expensive say a 'park tool' brand but for the money these are pretty good if you are not going to be using all the time.

This product seemed a bit overpriced to me, but it works as it's supposed to. It cut through my bike brake cable housing with ease and did not flatten it out. That made it worth the money.

With a mighty slice, these cutters struck down the cable housing which I had deemed my mortal enemy; and once felled, the dread beast arose no more; it was indeed decapitated, and it spewed forth a great gushing of lubricant. Be ye certain, however, to rotate these fearsome blades around the housing to prevent undue compression. Lest your nobility and compassion drive you to dress the wound, you may finish the cut edge by using a small finishing file, but should your aim remain true and your heart steady, you will encounter no great challenge.

I had to install new cables on several bikes. The IceToolz cutter did very well on cables and good on housings. I did a little poking to round the housing and was all set. So much better than using side cutters!

Very pleased with these cutters. I did notice that when cutting a cable, one side of the cable will be less frayed than the other. Pay attention to this if it appears to be cutting them in an unclean fashion. Trying turning the pliers upside down and see if it makes a difference.

These work very well. I looked at some more costly ones and these work just fine for half the money. I buy and sell bikes as a hobby and these are a life saver.

This bike cable cutter is absolutely brilliant. My friend has a Park cable cutter which I've used in the past. This Ice Toolz cutter is a bargain, half the price of the Park and just as good. Wholeheartedly recommended. Buy it!!!

Will cut inner brake and gear cable not outer, it misshaped the outer cable making it difficult to then run the inner cable through smoothly.

Excellent tools. Saved me making a mess of the cables, very please i brought these. Sure there are cheaper, but with these there is no messing around or regret!
