Go for the nylon Boa Nerve. It's cheaper and better. I promise.
Not sure about others that have reviewed this bags material as "space aged," but I thought it looked cheap. The stitching looked like it would pop immediately.... And it did apparently (becaus it was broke). I expected the material to be a pliable rubber of sorts, but it's very stiff and just cheap looking. For $195 you expect the best and this simply wasn't. That being said, I sent it back and ordered the $50 cheaper boa nerve made from ballistic nylon. I love it! Don't get this one, save your money and get the nylon one. It is great. This one just didn't hit the mark.

Good bag
This is a good bag. I was worried about how rugged it would be as the material feels very thin. But so far has held up great. One caveat, I've had trouble with the fancy buckle on mine. Booq sent me a replacement when I contacted them. Excellent service. The problem remains, unfortunately.

Disappointed
Very disappointed, Returning it. It is too big. Outside Material appear to me, that it could get ripped very easily. Not to mention the high price.

Whatever you're packing the Stealth will carry it for you ... in style
The media could not be loaded. The Booq Stealth messenger bag is really a designer bag in disguise. Many designer bags are now being made of water-repellent tarpaulin, perfect for someone who uses the Stealth and wants those documents to stay dry. I can fit any of my smaller laptops in, but with a 14.6" × 9.8" × 1.1" interior, the luxury, roomy interior will fit the best in the laptop line: the MacBook Air, HP Chromebook 11, Dell Inspirion 11 3000 series, and the HP Stream 13. It's a well-designed messenger bag for the on-the-go person. The interior lining is nylon, but that soft microfiber lined compartment is perfect for that laptop or tablet. If you're carrying a load (this is a messenger bag after all), your devices will be very well protected. No one will be afraid the strap on the Stealth will break. It's a full 2" wide adjustable nylon one with a quick release magnetic metal seat belt buckle. When you're transporting your valuables, a cushioned oval pad will cover it. It's tarpaulin on the top and a breathable mesh on the bottom for comfort. It can be adjusted via those metal sliders or removed if you simply want to carry the bag.The interior front has one lengthwise zippered pocket and two open ones for quick access to that cell phone, digital camera, or snack. The nylon lined center will fit books, briefs, and any kind of paper up to legal size. The back has that microfiber lined compartment with two front pockets, one large enough to fit my Kindle. The laptop compartment can be secured with a fold-over Velcro attachment. It all can be closed up with the front flap and buckled up with quick release buckles. I do love the honeycombed pattern on the lining. Not quite yet because underneath that flap is yet another compartment with a super-secret zippered pocket. There are two open pockets, a place for pens, and a quick release key ring. Outside of this double-zippered compartment is yet another pocket. If you can't stow half of your desk in the Steath, you are most certainly a minamalist. Lock up the front with adjustable quick release buckles with 1" nylon straps that are reinforce on the ends. The Booq logo is printed on the buckles, but anyone who knows the brand will know what that little B is on the front left-hand side.Flip over the bag and there's yet another zippered compartment with a small silk-like red pocket, perhaps for good luck. I definitely enjoy exploring Booq bags, but this one is the most complex and interesting in the line. Last, but not least is a zippered pocket on the front of the bag that traverses the length of the bag. The piping is actually reflective, another nice touch. The layout of the bag is an excellent one with all the right touches a businessperson will need. The Booq Stealth can be worn cross body, a feature that anyone desiring an actual messenger bag will like. The water-resistant factor is a real plus and of course the designer-like quality certainly doesn't hurt matters one iota. I've always registered my Booq bags with Terraling. You simply register your numbered Stealth and you're good to go. I highly doubt anyone will let this kind of bag out of their sight, but a little extra insurance never hurts. Whatever you're packing, the Stealth will carry.Sample provided for review.

Abundant compartments, protection and configuration options...
First:There's no doubt this is a bag carrying a premium price. Anybody considering purchasing (or not) this product based on the price alone should pause and ask about the relative worth of the items it will store. Water bottles, pens and portable computing periphals? Not a big deal. But the laptop, tablet, smart phone (and their digital contents) ? These may not be as expendable, and users in search of a "full function" bag that combines flexibility and durability may find that this bag offer value in excess of its cost.Generally, messenger-style bags aren't my first choice; I don't care for how they interact with business attire in routine donning/doffing. Because most of my computer schlepping is in suburban car-to-office type situations, I normally prefer briefcase style. But for urban commuters, frequent flyers, bicycle, train or pedestrian commuters, the messenger style offers a great alternative for keeping your hands free and ready for other matters. The features of this bag begin on its exterior. Each side has a pocket that can accommodate a water bottle or other items you might need quick access too. The front of the main bag has a zipper pocket with an organizer for pens, a key fob and two more slip pockets and another zip pocket. The interior has three velcro-secured pockets and a large zipper pocket and a padded pocket for laptop storage. If you want to get this bag off your shoulder and carry it, there is also a carry handle. For transport, the exterior flap secures with dual wide velcro strips and squeezable plastic clasps. The bag secures over your shoulder and chest with a substantial metal/magnetic buckle mechanism. This is further secured with a secondary stabilizing strap that can attached to either side of the bag. This bag is roomy and flexible, the construction quality yields confidence that it will shield your stuff from the elements and your fellow humans. I've loaded it with stuff that easily expanded it front to back to more than 6" of bulk.Do yourself a favor: take a look online for videos describing "operation" of the shoulder/chest strap. While it's not complicated, it's not necessarily intuitive, and others (both Booq itself and other users) have already done an excellent job of illustrating this. The bag has an included "terralinq.com" id tag with a unique barcode and an "if found please visit terralinq.com" label. This obviously requires you to register in advance to be effective (assuming the finder is honest!). I've had printed labels in my travel bag for years with my contact information and a reward offer. I'm not sure that either method is effective in the hands of a dishonest finder.Overall, this is a bag that shows lots of thought for the real-world uses it might find itself in.Note: this item provided for review purposes.
