Looks cool works a treat
Got this mainly because of its looks and alternative to a naked flame. The fact is it does the job i got it for. The only downside i can see is that the end does get soit on it from lighting the candle wick so closely, other than that it’s great

Does what you'd expect
It works effectively and I much prefer it to a traditional lighter. Quicker, easier and safer.A few downsides... the "flame" is small, it fits a tea light candle wick in it, but larger candle wicks don't fit between (it still lights them, just from an angle which isn't instant like with smaller objects). The charging cable is ridiculously short, especially for a product which sets things on fire - I'll be using another longer lead so I can safely place it on a surface opposed to dangling from a socket. The battery also doesn't last too long. Perhaps it's wasn't properly charged upon delivery, but I've only managed to light 5 candles and it's on the last light bar of charge left.

Good
Really useful product that I don’t have to worry about running out or refilling, I’ve bought a second one as a gift. The packaging it comes in is a really nice box (perfect for a gift), looks very smart to store the lighter in when not in use BUT there was a big sticky label on the front and when peeled off took the top layer of the box with it. Seems pretty pointless to package it in a fancy box that gets ruined as soon as you open the product. Also the zappy noise it makes when lighting a candle is quite loud and not nice.

Hmmm :<
The media could not be loaded. Okay so we live in an age where near everything is electronic. I bought this in order to light candles and incense for when I meditate as it's compact and seemingly quite wind resistant.Pros: It does light whatever it's used on and looks sort of sleek and cool (but takes slightly longer than a regular flame would; bit redundant).Came fully charged (kind of an expectancy thought tbh)Cons: Gotta be a health and safety hazard... I'm not even sure about charging it and using it again.Hot: After a 1-2min of repeated use 2/3 of the device began to heat up from its outlet down towards the handle.Lighting method: Also the part of it that ignites your candles for e.g., seems to be an open circuit cut and placed closely - and not even aligned to eachother straight/well - with it's current exposed 0_0 .Ability to light: This also means that they've had to place the ends closely to make it work, but in doing so, I struggled to light the end of my incense stick since the ignition space seems to be a fraction of a mm and took longer to light it than any other flame lighter I've used.Noise: A high pitched, piercing crackle of noise that hurts your ears every time it's on.Materials: The polymer (plastic) casing is really bad at being heat resistant on its own. Instead of insulating it usually absorbs the heat, and given enough use, may begin to warp/melt itself (though I have yet to test that theory and won't anytime soon)...any casing for a lighter should not be made using this. Also, think about when you're most likely to use this: at night, lighting a candle for e.g.? The brittle quality to this device means if you drop it,*struggling to see what you're doing in the dark* not only is it more likely to break or be damaged than traditional ignition tools *that use steel or electrical wiring insulation*, but now it'll have all of it's parts exposed which don't appear to be very safe or high quality by a long shot. It's important to keep in mind that any device used to light something will always present some kind of hazard, but there are safer/more effective options than this (cool looking though it may be).I know refer to this as the death stick.Save yourself the trouble and get yourself an extended lighter is the lesson I've learnt today.P.s. I don't usually write harsh reviews but feel that this reflects the product clearly to potential buyers.

Just what I wanted, easy to use, and came before Christmas!
I bought one of these before, to light a gas fire with dodgy ignition. It's great for other things too, including candles, even when they're getting low and refuse to light - when I would have given up with matches, I persevered with this and it worked! This one was for a Christmas present, and it was sent, and arrived, very quickly, well packed and in perfect condition

ideal for pensioners too
ideal for pensioners as well as for the fit and able youngsters even at 80year old I found it so easy to light the candles especially when they are burning low in the holders. It was great and elegant in appearance as well. Thanks I've bought two more for my family, barbecues and candles
