Whilst the product was a composting bin I use it to store coal. I can fill the bin and it retains its shape and access the coal via the hatch at the bottom easily. The handles to keep the lid on well even in the strongest winds. Well worth the money and ideal as coal store .

For the price, it's just about OK ! It is thin metal. When coal is inside, the bottom hatch bends and letters water inside.Get what you pay for!

I needed to store several bags of coal outside, but receptacles marketed specifically as coal bunkers are really expensive. This looked like a good alternative and reviews show others have successfully used this item for that purpose, so I ordered it.I'm very happy, it's sturdy, the lid fits well and the sliding access hole means it's easy to remove a shovel full without having to remove the lid! I can absolutely recommend this for storing coal.

These arrived quickly, the lids and hatch doors separate in the cardboard box. I added castor wheels to the bottom of each bin before transplanting young fruit trees. It makes it easier to move them around the garden and to have maintenance done on the house.The metal is a bit thin, but the trees don't seem to mind as they've got more room for their roots to grow.I gave the lids away to gardeners for upside-down bird baths.Really pleased!

We bought this to hold coalm and made a stand for it for easy access to coal.We have filled it with 75 kilos of coal and put a cover over the whole thing to disguise and protect from our windy garden.Hopefully we can unload the coal in winter.

I am using this as a coal bunker. I intend to fill with no more than about 60kg of coal, as the floor, like the rest of the product is very thin. I am supporting the base not only on the sides but in the middle to prevent the bottom from falling out! That said, for the price it looks like it will work reasonably well.

bought this for storing coal, there was no assembly required apart from slotting the little door into place and putting the lid on.The main unit had a few dents but these easily pushed out and didn't impact the unit at all.Very happy with it:)

The media could not be loaded. Has no door hatch even though the description says it does, just looks like a bin, not much good without the hatch, very disappointed
