LG G3 Case, GreatShield [RETAIN] Slim Fit Hybrid Snap On Case Clear Back Cover for LG G3 (Black)

Fist and foremost, this case looks great, and shows off the cool finish on the LG G3. Unfortunately, the plastic is also quite soft, and scratches way too easy for something that's supposed to be protective. I actually had one arrive scratched and sent it back for a replacement, and customer service was very good . The replacement arrived in perfect condition and managed to remain free of blemishes for all of a week, even though it's carried in a soft cloth lined leather holster and always set face down on it's ballistic glass screen protector. Also, they should add some sort of a soft rubber baffle around the openings to keep dust and dirt out from between the case and the phone. I'm constantly pulling it off to blow the dust bunnies and inexplicable eyelashes out.Meanwhile, the fit is very snug around the sides, which is great, but causes one small inconvenience; when I take it off for cleaning, it pulls the rear plate off my phone, and if I ever would forget that this was going to happen, my battery could fall out. Then again, I'd rather have this problem than have a case that falls off if you drop your phone. The access ports are good, but could be slightly larger to better accommodate chargers and headphones with thicker plug insulation. I haven't tested the case's shock absorbtion ability, but the rubber surround seems quite capable of taking a sturdy blow, so I'll just trust their claim and not go throwing my phone against walls and sidewalks anytime soon.

Seems like a very sturdy case, but I can't say that with certainty because I haven't dropped my phone. Slim for a case, but bulkier than a bumper . It's nice that my 3mm headphone jack can still connect without taking the case off, however I have had some issues getting the micro-usb to connect with the case on. The case leaves a very tight space for the "surround" of the micro-usb and you may have to wiggle it around a bit to get passed the case's opening. Also, the case is VERY difficult to remove. It fits very tight! That is probably good for phone protection, but can be annoying when a grown man is struggling for several minutes to get it off. It has a nice "grippy" texture around the edge that makes the phone feel more secure in the hand. I like the transparent backing, but I can see already that it will get scratched up pretty quickly - making it much less transparent. The curved plastic back of the G3 means just an "edge-bumper" wouldn't keep the back elevated off surfaces, so you kind of need a back protector on this particular phone. Overall, I think it's a good case, especially for the price.

Mostly great case. There are some sharp edges at the bottom but they are not a bother (that actually allow for the phone to stand up on it's end if needed). Looks like it offers great protection. Only issue with the case is the charging port cutout is not large enough for a lot of micro USB chargers. The charger provided with the G3 fits fine, but other after market ones often have too much plastic around the port to fit. I ended up shaving off some of the plastic on the micro USB cords to get them to fit.

Case is fine, but the back gets a bit cloudy after a while. Easy to get on and off, but I worry that the part where the black meets the plastic is starting to get a bit flimsy (though I take my case off a lot for better cleaning of my device so this might be more because I just don't leave it alone like I probably should). I've had really awesome cases from Greatshield in the past for some Samsung Galaxy products, but this one is just kind of meh in comparison.

So many issues I don't even know where to start. First thing I would like to talk about is the fit of the case itself. It fits fine except on the bottom area of the phone where the mic, USB port and headphones jack is. It does not hold tight to the phone and moves an exceptional amount. Secondly many flaws in the material itself. Blemishes and horrible marks all around the black rubberized part of this case. The clear back of the case gets scratched easily and show a lot. I was thinking of sending it back but not worth my time or effort. I have paid less for far better cases for my LG G3. Live and learn I guess.Pros. Is slim and light. My husband and I both have the same case, and we both love it. It does look a little bit manly but I don't mind, protects ours phones very well. We have had dropped our phones quite a few times from high places and it does not break,or shatter like others we've had. The clear part is plastic and the black part is silicone. We would not hesitate to make the same purchase again once the ones we have give out, the price is also very reasonable.

Fits perfectly. Loved the product until it broke. Protects the phone well. It was delivered on time and was easy to put on the phone. Took a couple of falls but cracked when it fell one such day and finally broke while sitting on the counter.

Its an alright case. Major complaint I have is that they do not make a big enough hole for the charging spot. Also when you take it off it grabs the back of the phone, so the back of the phone will come off with the case most of the time.

Had scratches, ruined my tempered glass.
