Online reviews never cease to amaze me. Having read the previous on this item, it was certainly confusing and I am compelled to comment. As I am sure most are like me, looking to refill a bean bag or similar item and are not bead experts, so this may help. When first looking for "beans" you quickly find out that there is more to decide than expected. Nothing that a quick internet search does not clear up. There are actually different kinds of beads (pure, recycled, foam, etc), there is a broad spectrum on the internet and most with high shipping costs. These beads will arrive in a box and that is it. I am not sure what one might expect. It was interest to think: 1, order box of beads, 2. receive box of beads, 3. ship back box of beads in outrage because it was simply a box of beads . . .TO BE CLEAR, this item is as advertised, you will receive as stated: 2 cubes (cubic feet) in volume of PURE BEAD. Google it if you are unsure what that is. I refilled one medium sized bean bag and ordered a 2nd box to fill another one. The beans are good quality and I actually think i ended up with a slightly overstuffed bag. Anyway, a tip to help, don't open the box in the normal manner (cutting the tape) as it is indeed what you order, a box of beads. Cut an approximately 4 inch "door" at one of the corners when you are ready to pour the beads and they pour very easily.

I ordered this product because the back cushions on our Ikea couch were all squished and saggy after years of hard use. The refill beads arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and the seller must have read some of the other reviews because the beads were in a plastic bag inside the shipping box. The volume was approximately that of a 13-gallon kitchen trash bag. The beads are small (about 1/4 inch diameter) styrofoam spheres. I removed the cushions' covers, slit open each cushion, poured in some beads, reshaped the cushion, poured in more beads (and repeat and repeat), and sewed up the slits. I spilled the beads frequently, and they statically clung to everything they hit, but I was able to gather them up and stuff them in the cushions. It worked! Now the cushions are back to their original shape and size, if a bit more beany-feeling than they were when new. The price of the beads and the time to make the repair was much more economical than replacing the cushions or the couch.

I ordered two of these items to fill my bean bag, and according to the size of these bags, two should have done the trick. It appeared that when the boxes arrived though quite a few beans had fallen out of the box, and they did not nearly fill the bag. I contacted customer service and they very speedily responded asking how many more bags I needed, and sent them to me free of charge. My bean bag is filled now, and I will be coming back to these guys in the future because I know they have great customer service, which is all that really matters to me. Overall, this company is a good choice.

I've never seen the inside of a bean bag chair so I didn't know exactly what to expect when this arrived. My biggest complaint is that it's just a box filled with mini packing peanuts - not even in a bag or anything. I didn't realize this when I first opened the box and tried to dig around in the packing material for my "product". My 2 year old loved it though since she threw these all over the room and then stomped around in them. Needless to say, it was a pain in the butt to clean them up and it would have been really nice if they would have come wrapped in a bag or something just to keep them under control.

I was nervous to buy this due to the other reviews. I was prepared to cut a hole in the box to make filling the bag easier. To my surprise they were in a bag inside the box. This must have been corrected it after the company read the reviews. No issues with this purchase. I took the bag of foam beads out cut a hole in the bottom corner of the bag and filled the chair without mess or issue. I would say the 2 cubes doubled the amount of beads I had for my standard sized chair. So if you are filling a new chair without beads you would need to buy two of these. I hope this helps someone.

I appreciate having beanbag refills. It sure makes sense to refill rather than fill up dump sites with perfectly good chairs. The packaging was kind of annoying. Would have liked to be able to dump the beans in our chairs. As it was the beans come "open" in a box and between static and a large opening made it impossible to dump. Had to spend an hour scooping.

The quality of the product is fine, bean bag fill is bean bag fill. But I was disappointed in the quantity. I can get twice the amount for the same price other places.Bought this to fill a new bean bag chair that didn’t have any beans. I would need 4 or 5 of these bags to fill it. Not worth the price IMO.It’s not 2 cubic feet. Maybe 1 1/2 cubic feet.Bean bag chair is a small one

When i ordered this refill pack of "Pure Beads" I didn't know what i was doing! But they are Amazing, Life Changing, and just a good product!My bean bag went from 2 Cubes low to Full again! And they taste Amazing! I put them on IceCream, sandwiches, in a bowl with milk! And FUN!! they stick to everything! the static that they have wow! put your arm in and it comes out all covered in little white balls! Hope that was enough nonsense to take up space.So my overall review, they work well! and were shipped fast!
