Good for sensitive skin
I was given a couple of these dressings by the surgery for a potential ankle ulcer, and they worked well, so I bought a box of 10 myself. They are very slightly adhesive, which is good for areas of sensitive skin, as they can usually be easily removed. It is probably better to keep them in place with a stretch bandage or a compression stocking rather than micropore tape.

Painless removal at dressing change.
These dressings are excellent. Good absorption and most importantly for me painless when it comes to dressing changes. Excellent for non healing wounds and leg ulcers. The fibres turn into a kind of gel when it meets the moisture/exudate that exudes from the wound and that is what gives it superiority over traditional dressings in terms of painless removal and a moist wound environment without being soggy.

Urgoclean Dressing.
After many leg Ulcurs, This is my most tried and tested 'go to'.Almost painless to remove, only sticky enough to place and hold. These dressings soak up most exuding matter and help heal the wound. I use them under a waterproof plaster to start with whilst lots of oozing. then go to these, along with Micropore strips for duration of healing. Great pads never stick.
