Saved me from buying 15k Projector screen
After reading reviews, I ordered this paint to replace my Grey ALR Screen which got damaged recently. The paint color mentioned is Lunar Grey but actually it appears like white at first instance. After reading few comments , I bought black oil paint also to get good contrast and color like my Grey ALR screen but I did not like the result in patch testing so I preferred to keep the original color. Before using this paint, I had painted the wall with base white color . I could not understand what is the difference between that Rs 130/ltr white paint and Rs 650/ltr silk touch at first instance but definitely Silk touch has different quality and texture than regular paint. If you see you won't find anything special in this paint . Yes quality is good but I believe buying a premium color of branded paint can give similar or better result. After painting, it gives a tint of light grey than pure white. Results are good but for that you need to switch off the lights. 1 ltr paint is enough for painting a 10x12 single wall 3-4 coats easily with roller however if previous color is not white then it's advisable to first paint it with base white otherwise patchy results will come. At the end , I can say that its not an alternate to projector screen but if you have a big wall and don't want to spend 5-10K in buying a projector screen then this paint is a good option than a regular painted wall. ***Update after 2 yrs (Aug 2022): Bought it again for the second time as recently I upgraded the projector from Aun Akey6 to BenQ 1080p DLP projector. First, I thought to buy projector screen but price coming was 10k & 15k for pull down and motorized respectively. So, I thought to use the same wall again and repainted the wall second time after 2 yrs and the results now coming out are really great. I don't know how it would have looked with a projector screen but I am quite satisfied with the quality getting on the wall. I am getting cinema hall like color and contrast. It saved my 15k for now as I am not ready to spend more money over projector screens but maybe sometime in future . Original lunar grey color is giving me super results so I would advise to not mix it with any black/silver color. ALR screen has a reflective coating on it which you can't replicate on wall by mixing black paint.

Simply Superb!
I was very sceptical about this screen paint. I used it on a laminated ply wood after two coats of primer to hide the dark colour of the laminate. Application of the paint wasn’t easy and I didn’t get an even finish. I would suggest to get this job done from the professional painter. The paining dried well in about an hour even in the monsoon weather of Mumbai. I added about a tablespoon of black acrylic paint to one lit of screen pain to get a good grey shade. Despite my 4/10 quality of painting the screen gave a fantastic viewing experience. I was earlier projecting on a off-white painted wall and thought that this paint won’t do any better. I am proven wrong. The grey screen boot only gives excellent contrast and brings out the darker shades, it is doesn’t produce the glare that my psinted wall was producing. This screen has improved my viewing experience many fold. Important tips:- 1. If possible filter the paint to remove pieces of dried paint. 2. Mix the full quantity of paint and black colour at one go 3. Don’t add much water… just enough for your paint brush to glide well. Now I am looking for a super black border for my screen. Any suggestions?

Nothing special in this paint
Please go with normal paint with light grey or white as per your project luminous. Not worth for this price. No difference.

For this price... I think paint is very good for watching movies in wall
First I give 3 layer putty on wall and then planed to paint. First i divide the paint in to 2 bottles - half each, In first half I add 5 drops black colour for creating contrast and depth. Then started to paint 140 inch wall 2 times, result is good but some problem i found. Means the movies original colour changes to more dark (eg red to dark red, sky blue to dark blue etc... & dark sceens are very much dark. So depth increased but movie experience not impressive. Then I paint balance in original condition, then the depth is not much good, but colour is perfect. So in my experience normal condition is good. I upload one video, you can watch the quality. My projector is XGIMI ELFIN. Thanks
