Replacement for Discontinued CLIFFORD 7752X 2-Way Remote Control Transmitter

My wife lost the remote for her remote starter, so we bought this to replace it. It paired up easily and works great. Since then, we found the other one, so now we have 2!

The remote works perfectly. The instructions that came with it didn't work at all for the system in our vehicle. It was saying to push and release the control button, then push and hold it. First of all, which button is the "control" button. There is the 'f' button, the remote start button, and the 'aux' button. Following their directions didn't get me anywhere. I found directions elsewhere and they worked perfectly and were much simpler.1. Open the car door2. Push and hold the "f" button about 8 seconds until it brings up a menu. Use the AUX and remote start buttons to navigate the menu until you see "remote pair", then hit the f button again.3. Insert the key in the car and turn to on position without starting the engine.4. Press the button on the antenna (usually up near the rear view mirror) and release it, then press and hold until the blue light flashes.5. Press the lock button on the remote. The horn should typically honk and the remote will play a little tune and you are all done.

Saved me! Was able to connect easily to the alarm system, allowing me to continue using my remote start! So happy!

Was worried I would have to replace the whole system, this works great, and with a little effort was able to program it , I had to try twice to get it to work, from start to finish I would say it took about ten minutes to get it programmed

You can buy this second hand or spend full price from a dealer... (for an old car... aight worth it). So after countless videos of how to pair remote to car alarm... which still didn't work. I just took apart the "new remote housing" and installed old remote with new battery (screen worked, so no problem).... and I got my 2 way remote again!!!

I got this to replace an original transmitter (old style) and it is much better - well made - especially in the way that it attaches to a key ring. My old style used to break off where the key ring attachment met the remote body - there is no way this will do the same thing. Also it is slimmer than the old style and the shape fits my pocket better. A very worthwhile upgrade.
