IDEAL Electrical 45-415 Premium Reflex T-5 Stripper - 10-20 AWG, Wire Stripper, Plier Nose, Slide Lock, Textured Grips,Yellow

I do not know how any electrician or hobbyist gets by without these wire strippers. (Hobbyist... that's me.) Be cautioned that they come in two sizes... one for very small gauge wires, another for larger gauge wires. So check the gauges before you buy the wrong pair of strippers.

The product's shape is Berry. Urban opticand easy to work with very, very pleased.

First let me just say these are great strippers. I love ideal. Make sure you read the title and not just look at the picture of them. Thought I was getting larger gauge strippers and these are just for control wire.

Sharp comfortable and easy to use. Ideal and Klein is all you need

Ok, these are going to be great cutters BUT I throw all my cutters and plyers in one drawer. If these cant lock closed then I cant have them in there and really, don't want the sharp edges exposed when I dig through the drawer. These are identical to my older pair that im replacing with the exception of what the arrow points to, the close lock. So Ill have to take the one off the old pair and rivet it into the new pair. IDEAL lost 3 stars for not doing this in the factory.

There are plenty of wire strippers for 14 gauge and higher wires out there that are great but there really aren’t that many for stripping smaller gauge wire. I have a set of these from 20 years ago and wanted to get another just in case I lost those as they are my favorite. These are the same and just as good in every way except the handles are yellow instead of the red like my original pair. I prefer the Ideal over the Klein or any other brand I’ve ever seen. These are excellent tools that I expect will last me as long as the originals or more and now I have a spare!
