The camera is fine, but the USB cable end is a "C" oval format rather than the "D" shaped "B" I was expecting. Thus, it won't work with my phone. I can use the USB-A cable in my laptop.I found you can use the "Camera" application in Windows 10 on a laptop, rather than downloading another piece of software. The icon that looks like you "spin" the camera lets you switch from your onboard laptop camera to the USB camera.Overall, for the price its very good. My wife (a nurse) doesn't think this is a good thing to be putting into ones' ears, but for seeing into blind spots its just what I needed.

Shortly after warranty, Light tube broke at the base of the instrument. Worked as advertised until then. Be careful when inserting.. it is delicate.

It's a nifty little device, and worth it for the price. But it says in the description that it works with MacOS, but there's no directions for how to use it on MacOS… There’s android app directions and windows OS but not mac. After some googling and a very helpful YouTube video (thanks PanThom) I discovered you just open up Photo Booth and change the camera input, as seen in picture. Probably easier than any of the other operating systems where you have to download an app.YOU CAN USE IT WITH MAC, it's just not immediately obvious. They really should add that in the instruction booklet, I almost returned the device because of it.

Unit came as advertised. I purchased it because it will work with Mac and it did seamlessly. The instructions do not tell you how to connect with Mac, but previous reviews do. Just use PhotoBooth. Picture quality is good, sharp edges do irritate the ear canal, but the can be smoothed. Metal ear picks do not work well as they are double ended. Overall a useful tool.

Cheap product. Very difficult to use. Would not recommend.

It was not compatible with my Samsung S10, but we did get it to work with another Android phone within the home. The picture quality was great and the lights worked perfectly. The app it attaches to isn't the greatest, but it works for what I need it to. We purchased mainly to check our cat and children's ears.

I bought this to find out if the tip to my hearing Aid was in my ear canal. This did the trick. It visualized it very well and I was able to use special tweezers to pull it out. Saved me a trip to the doctors.

I'm giving the KimCam endoscope one star at this point because I haven't even been able to use it yet. The endoscope's connector cable comes with two attached connectors, both of which are too large for my Motorola G6 Play phone. I am not conversant in connectors, and an Amazon search for phone connecters/adapters brings up 5 million choices. If I can't find a friend who knows what I need to buy to connect my phone, I'll probably just return the endoscope.
