Best Curling Iron Product EVER!Finally, a product to help hold my curls from my CURLING IRON!I have bright blonde, stick straight hair and before this product, my hair would curl but the curls but they would NOT last.I use this product, Unite, in addition to Treseme curl activator spray (important to follow their directions correctly!) and my curls will last even if I curl my hair at 6 am, they will last until 6am at least! I was so surprised when I woke up with my curls still intact!This product works so good its almost too good! My curls probably relaxed only 10% max. throughout the day. My style I was going for required a looser curl and this product held these curls.I am not talking about my natural curl in my hair because that doesnt exist. I use this product for when i curl my hair with a curling iron and it is truly magical.I decided to give this product a try because I saw it on the makeup table of Kim Kardashians on her show. I love kim's hair when it is curled and noticed it seems to hold curl well throughout her show so i decided i would give it a try. SO GLAD I DID!Do NOT pass this up if your curls do not hold with a curling iron. I will never try anything else again. The search is finally over!How I use this product:My hair is down to my breast bone, stick straight.After I shower and towel dry my hair, I put in a heat protectant and a DIME size of Unite cream. I blow dry it straight and smooth. After it is completely dry, I spray the treseme curl activating spray (the instructions of it require to blow dry your hair again for another minute-do not skip this step or you will have crunchy hair) Then I take the curling iron/wand through it and style as usual and my curls will literally last for days!!!!Best Curling Iron Product out there!

I like to curl my hair, but it usually will not take a curl...with curlers, sock bun, or curling iron. I heard good things about this cream, so I thought I'd try it. The first time I tried it, it didn't really work. I got the suggestions to use less, let the curls set properly, and to try to use a thickener on my hair to help the curls take. I've used it again a couple of times now. I've used it on dry hair with a curling iron. I only use about half a pea-sized amount, and I don't put it near the roots. When using the curling iron, I pin the curls to allow the follicle to cool in the curled position. It worked pretty well and stayed for several hours, and there was still some curl left by the end of the day. I've also used it with a sock bun (see youtube if you don't know what a sock bun is). This time I tried a thickening shampoo (Loreal's Volume Filler), and my hair was just ever so slightly damp.. Again, I only used the half a pea-sized amount, and allowed the hair to dry and set overnight. I had lovely curls that lasted almost all day. I think the key with this product on straight fine hair is only using a small amount and letting the curls properly set however you are getting curls. Also, some hair may be so fine (like mine) that you need to use a thickener to really get the look you are wanting.

I've been using this product for years and it really is wonderful for defining waves and curls. I have a decent amount of fine, curly hair that tends to frizz very easily and this product helps in muggy, humid weather without weighing it down (which is almost daily where I live). As others have mentioned, you need to be careful to not use too much or else it will flatten your hair so you will need to experiment with how much to use. I donate my hair often and this product has worked well no matter whether my hair is chin length or very long, down the middle of my back. I like that it doesn't contain cancer causing parabens but it does contain a light fragrance and limonene, 2 ingredients the EWG Skin Deep database rates as somewhat dangerous but because I don't use a lot of the product, I will continue to use it unless/until I find a product without any questionable ingredients that works as well as Unite.

Doesn’t really work for my thick red hair. Too expensive for it not to do anything.

I have used this product for many years. It works great for wavy or curly hair and is perfect to use with a diffuser. It defines your curls without the frizz. If you have thin hair this may be too heavy as it would weigh your hair down. If you apply too much, it can make your hair crunchy and stiff, but that can be easily fixed by scrunching your hair in those places.

I have very fine, thin strawberry blonde hair. I wanted some wave/ curls in it and have tried several products. This seems to work great except the next day my hair feels kind of greasy. (But you still need to use some flexible hairspray to set the curls, which is fine.) I don't like to wash my hair every day so I was hoping that I could just curl it the second day, depending on the Boing cream to do the trick. But it really doesn't work that way. The second day my hair doesn't seem to curl very well, more of a limp look which I don't like. I would suggest putting just a small amount of the cream on the middle and ends of your hair only, staying away from your scalp. Be frugal with your usage. That might help.

I purchased this cream after I saw it recommended on a YouTube video about fine, curly hair. Overall, I really like the product, it defines my curls without weighing them down, smells amazing and it not greasy or heavy at all. The only reason this didn't get a five-star review is because I don't like the way it makes my curls feel. While they look great, they feel tacky rather than soft. Having curly hair, I don't typically touch it throughout the day for fear of making it frizzy but this made me not want to touch it because I didn't like the way it felt. If you're okay with that, I'd recommend you try it.
