Musical Popping Cake Stand - Happy Birthday Melody

Was searching for a way to make the basic birthday cake more fun & found the surprise cake. It was a big hit!Happy to find a unique way to present my friend with her birthday gift cards. I think it's a good value too because it's reusable for other kinds of parties or special celebrations like a bridal or baby shower.Also loved the cheerful box it came in! It's so pretty it made me think that it would make a great gift so I ordered one with a music box for a family member who has a bunch of kids. Stand needs to be assembled before using.It’s not difficult though, my advice is to go easy and the pieces fit together nicely. Just follow the directions in the manual that comes with it. Recommend getting the carrying case too. Made transporting & storing the cake much easier.

Works great. Easy enough to put together. And the surprise was great my niece jumped when we pulled the ring. Way better than trick candles. Only two things wrong with it first is there is no way to cover the cake literally if it had a cover it would be perfect, but since it does not advertise one i wont rate it down for that. Second is that i will never be able to surprise any of the other kids with it because they all know what it does now, again i knew that going in but it is so much fun I wish i could do it again

Well a little pricey for the use. Usually it is only once. Because after everyone see it is not a surprise anymore. So if you are a planner yes , it is definite worth it for me. Not so much . In got two of these and amazon it was the expensive one and other web was less than half . One was delivery 24 hrs amazon the second 1 month deliver . I was nervous that the one for the month waiting will not arrived on time so purchase on amazon. Both they arrive same day! I compare and the quality are similar . Amazon is the one for planners people. The other for personal use. So now you know great product and fun to use it . My daughter face was priceless when the cake pop up and she find a set of car keys! Love it

I never write reviews, but this product always gets everyone laughing and makes birthdays or any other occasion all the more fun. I've used the stand to give gifts or as a fun way to add to a party. It's EXTREMELY easy to put together, take apart, and clean! I've used it with a variety of cake sizes and cupcakes and it's always a great fit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR GUESTS AN EXTRA TREAT!

Loved the idea of the stand. However, I had issues with the insert to stay in place. Also, this stand is for really light weight cakes. I am a home baker and my cakes are more dense and heavy. The stand won't hold a heavy cake. The two screws that hold it are not enough to hold it in place. I had to use additional support to hold up my cake.

I just put it together and it was super simple! I tried it out a few times and it works without a hitch!! I can’t wait to see the look of surprise on my daughters face tomorrow!! The media could not be loaded. Used it on this cake, popped out of back of truck, worked great! Very easy instructions, it's a bit pricey but it looks very sturdy and works great! Plan to use it more!

I saw this on Instagram and thought it looked really cool, so I wanted to save it to surprise my husband with a gift for his 30th birthday. Long story short - it just simply doesn't work. I don't know if I received a defective unit or what, but the spring was too strong and it wouldn't stay in place. It would randomly burst up as I was trying to put the cake on, and the latch just wouldn't hold. It got to the point where I felt it would be too dangerous to put candles on the cake while it's on the stand (could you imagine how bad that would have been if it burst up with lit candles on top!?! Nothing like 3rd degree burns for your birthday!), so I decided to nix the whole thing and just hand him his gift like normal. It really stunk, because I thought the idea for the product was wonderful and I really wanted to surprise him and make his milestone birthday special. Oh well. Just don't count on using this for a special occasion, unless you want to risk being disappointed.
