Nice feature set wrapped up in a chunky retro aesthetic
At present Amazon doesn’t seem to have a full rundown of the spec but it’s features are:2 independently programmable time zones50 lap chronograph with recall functionCountdown timer with auto-repeat2 step Interval timer with auto-repeat3 alarms (can be set to daily, day of the week, weekends/weekdays)Indigo night light.Takes a CR2016 batteryThe watch has a cool chunky, sci-fi aesthetic to it, weighs nicely on the wrist and has a large clear display. In comparison it has a smaller profile than most G-shocks but might not fit under a dress shirt, for example (given that this is from the ‘Expedition’ series such models seem geared towards outdoors/urban, generally). The two time zones can be switched between from the main time screen at the push of a button. The extra functions like the chronograph and timers are easily programmable and intuitive to navigate. The chronograph doesn’t feature the ability to check the best/average lap like on the Ironman line but this is the only con in my opinion. The countdown timer and interval timer can be set independently and to auto-repeat, a feature not always present on digitals of this level. The watch’s beep volume is noticeable enough without being overly loud and would suit most environments and applications. This can be set to off and there’s also an hourly chime function available, both settable via the main screen. It also allows the user to set the date to DD/MM or MM/DD, these options are something that I think is always a nice touch. The strap is super soft and pliable to a small degree making for a comfortable feel on the wrist and I think would be stretchy enough for wearing over clothes where needed. The watch itself comes across as durable and hard wearing, the buttons easily pushable but with a bit of tension/push back when depressing so as not to trigger easily. The Indiglo light lights up the digits rather than the face of the LCD which to me makes for clearer viewing in the dark and featured on most Timex watches, I just thought I’d add that for any potential buyers.Over all, a really nice cool looking watch with a great set of functions that would cover most everyday needs.

Solid, comfortable and well made competitor to a G-shock DW 5600
Pro- Comfortable fit and strap, Good build quality, Easy to use interface and buttons, Good legibility and Backlight, Lots of featuresCon- Too big, Looks like a smartwatch, Generic design, +/- 3 seconds per day accuracy is sub par for a quartz movement, should have Solar or Atomic timekeeping for the priceA strong competitor to a G-shock dw5600 but considerably more expensive with no more electronic features. Good first foray into this category from Timex. Try it on before buying though.

my winter gear
i love this watch for winter. it takes a beating. is so comfy on the wrist. its big but doesnt wear real big. like not obnoxiously big. i was concerned the white would get dirty quick but so far ive only had to clean the bottom of the band as that is the part that comes into contact with surfaces the most. otherwise so fresh so clean. great indiglo. keeps good time. has everything i need. looks great when i wear sweatshirts and hoodies.

Quickly becoming my favorite
I’ve been looking for a digital watch which was well built and easy to read. The Timex BST 47 hits the mark with very few drawbacks.Pros: Build quality is on par with g-shocks. However, unlike g-shocks the Timex makes better use of the watch face allowing for larger numbers. These aren’t the largest you can find on a digital watch, but I have old, tired eyes and I can see them fine. I was hesitant to go with a negative display, glad I did because this has turned out to be easy to see. The watch band is soft, very comfortable, and allows the watch to lay flat when I’m not wearing it. I have small wrists, 7.5”, and there’s room to go a larger but not much room to go smaller. I can’t speak to durability, but it’s a Timex so I expect it to last a while.Cons: The watch band may be comfortable, but it does not go on smoothly. It has ridges and the buckle gets stuck on them. The band material seems to pick up lint and dirt very easily. I also noticed this watch catches on the inner sleeve on my jackets as I put my arm through. Never had this problem with other watches. To me the cons are too minor to lessen the appeal of the watch. It has all the other features you’d expect from a Timex digital watch; dual time, chronograph, countdown timer, interval timer, 3 alarms. The alarms are loud enough and you can set them for daily, weekday, weekend, or for a specific day.Overall I happy I made this purchase and recommend it..

A bit bulky for my liking
Just too big for my liking. Im not a small man at 6'3" and 300lbs but this watch was just too big for me. I'm a nurse in an ICU and this watch I noticed got in the way and did not let my wrist bend back with as much comfort as I like. That being said I am sad that I did not find this watch as comofortable as I would have hoped. The features and ease of reading, simplicity of the face is exactly, I mean exactly what i want in a watch. The silicone strap is a huge plus in my opinion as well. Overall a really good option even if its a bit pricey for a digital watch. I really wanted to like this one but went with a "smaller" option from casio and have been satisfied.

Still Going Strong
A little over a year gone wearing this watch day and night. From working on moving trucks to completing basic military training and it is still ticking away (without a battery replacement). It’s been functionally reliable and barely shows signs of the tests I’ve put it through.I sing this watch’s praise in reply to those who suggest I buy a smart watch or to anyone in the market for a new watch. It tells has a nice, large display, is 200m water resistant, has a timer, alarm, and has good illumination. What more do you need, really? 5/5.

Ret. SEAL Jocko Willink recommended, high uality, multi-featured watch
I first noticed this watch after it was recommended by retired SEAL commander and author, Jocko Willink.Great watch. Easy to use, comfortable, useful features. Easily visible under water, in all daylight/night environments.Regular timer AND triple interval timer is very useful for setting sequential timers.Three alarms make it easy to have different alarms without needing to set and reset too often. Alarm sounds are very clear.Right after my Ironman Triathlon, this is my favorite watch.

Sorprendente
El reloj Timex boost es excelente para el día a día si no quieres un reloj de carátula más grande o ancho de la caja, se ajusta perfecto a la muñeca, tiene muy buena resistencia a los golpes y al agua.

Good watch
Took it to Mexico for some touring and beach fun. Inexpensive compared to other watches of this type but definitely good bang for buck. There is a bit of a learning curve with the watch which I found that the internet is your friend since the instructions it comes with were quite poor-- especially with toggling between two time zones. If you plan on going underwater at the beach or in a pool, definitely get the normal black font on grey faced versions.
