Great quality, Very pleased
Bought this for my boyfriend for the Renaissance Festival. He loves it and it is perfect. After viewing many items, I am glad I went with this dagger/sword. I say that because it is longer than a dagger but not too long as a sword. He wanted a dagger but I thought he would like something a little bigger. It is of great quality and A LOT less expensive than the ones you buy at the festivals. It is heavy, sharp and great detail. Definitely not cheaply made. We are both very pleased. I think I am going to buy one for me.

Excellent dagger, BUT...Slightly tilted blade.
The blade is tilted slightly to one side, but it's solidly built.It's also well balanced (it could be moreso had the blade been perfectly straight.)This is a replacement for an identical blade I'd had many years ago, so I'm glad to have it back.Just wish this one flaw wasn't there. Otherwise, it's a great piece.

Lovely dagger
This dagger is a little darker than I expected, kind of like pewter... I actually think it looks better in person than in the picture. It has a nice weight to it and is fairly sharp. I'm very please with my purchase.

A good addition to my cosplay!
This is a very nice looking dagger and a great addition to my renaissance cosplay. It's a fair-sized dagger, although I wouldn't really liken it to a shortsword (see cat picture for size reference). My only concerns are the hilt and sheath aren't a perfect fit, and that the sheath will slide right off the blade pretty easily. So, even if you attach a leather strap to the sheath and fasten it to a belt, you have to be careful to keep it upright or have the hilt tied down to the sheath, or else the blade will fall right out. Also, the blade is sharp, so I'd advise extra caution.

Poor craftsmanship
Recieved broken in undamaged box, similar to broken review from another buyer. Doesn't seem like it's very well put together. Not a good buy.

It's Huge!
Very solid knife. More like a short sword. Nice and heavy, all metal. Good for costume or hand on the wall.

Noticeable cast markings on hilt and slightly dull, but good quality for price
Not bad for the price, but it does have semi-obvious mold/cast markings on the hilt as well as the word CHINA on the base of the blade (pretty small so it doesn't bother me too much). It is kind of dull on the sides but sharp at the point so I sharpened it to my liking.
