They're about an inch too short in both dimensions for my Apimaye frames, but that is easily remedied by cutting strips from another foundation piece and melting them into the original to make up the difference. The slightly messy seams haven't bothered bothered my bees. I only have three hives. If you have a lot of hives, I recommend a less time consuming solution.

All came in great shape. Cut down to fit frames. Cut very easy with utility knife.

Smells more petroleum than bee wax. It IS thick and sturdy and I cut it in 3 long strips for starter strips for my new top bar hives brood sections. Strong and easy to work with. I cut the strips corners on 45deg and melted the scrap into a block... smelled petroleum, not bee wax. For the honey section of the hive I bought REAL AUTHENTIC bees wax foundation from a bee supply company to make starter strips. I think this "China's Finest" is mostly paraffin. Have not had any experience yet with the bees and this product.

Don't trust the negative reviews, honeybees draw this wax foundation before the plastic stuff and it has worked well in my beehives. The size is a little small but the bees will build it up to fit the frames. Pictures show a Medium frame with a full sheet embedded on the wire. Starter strips were also used on Super Frames and the Brood Frames, an additional wire was added 3/4 from the top to support the foundation strip until the bees draw out the comb. Was able to cut seven 1-1/8 strips from a single piece with a cheap pizza cutter and a top bar as a guide, very economical to use strips of foundation in any size frame.

Who knows if there is any beeswax in this product but it doesn't smell like beeswax at all and the stamped comb sheet is very thick and brittle. I wish I had opened the box before the return window closed. It might be useful for something that does not need actual beeswax but I am just going to use it for firestarter.

These don't even smell like beeswax. Bought to make candles. I will still try to make candles out of them, but whats the point? I bought for the fragrance.
