Magic The Gathering - Soldier of The Pantheon (32/249) - Theros

Absurd value for 1 mana. Elite Vanguard is still a great card today and that is just a 2/1 for 1 white mana.This card fits great into my life gaining/soldier deck

Soldier of the Pantheon is a must have card in a white weenie deck, or even a deck that splashes white. It's got a great body, a decent protection and lifegain ability (and all for 1 mana) and he's holding a head. What more could you ask for in a magic card in standard? I submit that there is not much, unless it was a modern thing.

i think it is a great card for mono white decks all need at least 4 and hi has protection for multicolored creatures and make you gain live excellent for aggro decks

The Product itself:I love this card, its a very strong turn one drop in any white deck, with great later game potential if you're building around soldiers. I'm also expecting him to become even more useful once Khans of Tarkir is released since that is a multicolored based set.The Service: I received it through standard postage which worked great. The cards themselves were in good condition. Also it was delivered 2 days early which was a wonderful suprise.

He does a whole heck of a lot for 1 mana. 2/1 frame is good enough, add in protection from multicolor and life gain, huzzah!Still, he's going to end up fighting mono colors more often than not, and may just get himself killed. Still a great choice even if not perfect.
