The Original SuperGlue T-CC Contact Cement

I snapped off the Formica edging on our counter top and didn't want to buy a big bucket of contact cement from the home improvement store just to fix a small problem. This product fixed the counter perfectly, you can't even see the seam (although you can feel it if you happen to run your hand across it). I found myself running around looking for things to glue back together after that, I fixed the broken crown on a Christmas nutcracker, repaired the rail system on a wooden tv-tray, etc. I am so happy with the results, and happy that the price and size of this little tube matched my needs.

This is the typical contact cement found in small jars by Dap etc except it is in a small resealable tube. It does not go bad nearly as quickly and is much easier to apply in small quantities from the tube compared to the brushes. I used to get a tube about every six months from Big Lots but they stopped carrying it. This was the first time I found it online at a reasonable price so I ordered a bunch.

Had a terrible experience with a different brand from the local hardware store. This stuff was a breath of fresh air after all the frustration. It does exactly what it's supposed to - you put it on both surfaces, wait for it to dry, and then press them together. And Presto! it holds tight and doesn't come off. Thank you Super Glue, for ease of use and labeling your products with correct terminology.I did this project about 3-4 months ago. I just opened up the cap to see, and it still smells fresh and doesn't have much built-up dry cement on the tip, so I would say that it stores well after opening.

It did work however I wanted to repair a strap on a shoe and wear it the same day. I had to wait for 2 days it to cure.

Did this do exactly what I wanted it too? No. Did it do what the directions said it would? yes. Did I follow those directions? HECK NO! Even so this glue is great for bonding two items that normally wouldn't/shouldn't be bonded. I cut up some dive shoes to glue on to the bottom of other dive shoes to give them a bit more padding so I can run in them and not worry about sharp pointy rocks, however the inside of the shoes have neoprene on them and don't hold glue so well...but with a large gob of this stuff they still stuck and I have yet to rip my new treads off! AWESOME GLUE!On a side note, use OUTSIDE!! This stuff is potent and gave me a wicked buzz for about ten min and I so wasn't trying to catch a buzz.
