Season 8

Ordered for Adam Lambert's Mad World---was so concerned when I received it, because there was a sticker on the package that said "Studio Recordings" which I was afraid was the faster version he's done that I don't like. But the version on this CD is that lovely slower one that he did live---so beautiful! I'm happy! The 4 rating is because the CD case was damaged rather badly---CD is fine, though

I bought this for the studio version of Adam Lambert's version of Mad World which did not disappoint. The rest of the CD has some good cuts on it, but nothing that I want to listen to over and over. Bottom line, since this is the only CD with the studio version of Mad World, for the price I feel it's worth it, with the other decent songs as a bonus.

The CD was a nice reflection of all of the season 8 contestants. However, I was hoping that there was more music by Adam Lambert on it. Adam was (and is) the stand-out star from that season, and I was hoping to see more of his performances on the CD. Maybe you could put together a compilation of all of Adam's performances on a CD and offer it to fans of Adams. I certainly would buy it and I know many other fans would too.

OK, I admit it I love watching American Idol! I was upset Adam didn't win, and I liked some of the final few quite a lot. I thought I'd see how this album came out.I was not impressed, it felt generic. I played it a few times, and probably won't bother with it again.So I went ahead and bought Adam's album "For Your Entertainment" and Alison's album,"Just Like You". Much better.

Just as the contestants were uneven in their abilities, so is the CD uneven in the quality of the singing. It was nice, however, to be reminded of some of the talents that didn't make it to the end. I especially enjoyed Allison Iraheta. I hope she has a terrific career. My all time favorite is Adam Lambert and I bought the CD just so I could have "Mad World".

I only bought this whole CD for Adam Lambert's "Mad World" seeing that I couldn't get it any other way as a single. I honestly haven't listened to any of the other songs. But Adam's beautiful rendition alone earns this whole CD 5 stars. I love, love, love his voice!

I received this cd on the second try as the first seems to be lost in the mail. Seller sent second cd as soon as I contacted them about not receiving the first. They also credited me for the shipping charges.

Well, I bought it so I could get Adam Lambert's song. The rest of the music brings back memories, but his song is beyond beautiful!

All the songs make for really great listening and you won't be disappointed as the singers all are very excellent. I particularly like Adam Lambert's version of "Mad World".
