It’s doing it’s job! I have these tiny hard skin knots on the palm of my hands, fingers, feet and toes. No body can tell me what the hell this is! Even my doctor. My doctor gave me an ointment that Only made it worse! So for years, upon years I google and webmd - with no luck. My father and his sister has this too! Hereditary? Maybe? I’ve tried tea tree oil with no result. Purchased the sulfur ointment, applied the ointment and by the next morning the bumps were Pissed. They swelled up and got harder. I scraped the knots off, reapplied the ointment and the bumps have not inflamed. They’re still visible to the naked eye but I feel it’s working.

Ok product - but not the right one if you're looking for something to wear overnight - more of a scrub.
I don't mind the soap. It's pretty good. The ointment is really gritty. You can use it like a scrub but boy does it burn. I couldn't tolerate more than a few minutes of it. I prefer the butter version which isn't gritty and can be worn overnight. I wouldn't wear this for more than 5 or 10 minutes. It's more like an acid peel. It tells you to wear it 10 minutes then wash it off. If you're looking for a scrub - it's a five in points. If you're looking for something to wear overnight - then this is a 3.

Worth a try at least...
I've had success with other sulfur soaps (Grandpa's?), but this one seems to make my face super oily about an hour after use. Wipe my face with a paper towel ,and then you can see through the paper towel oily. The ointment also makes me break out, and I'm reluctant to keep using it. I'm sure this works great for some people, but I have hormonal cystic acne and extremely oily skin, and it didn't do much for me. The smell is bout what you would expect from a product with sulfur in it.

BEWARE: Toxic, chemical, unacceptable and unbearable odor
This may be PEG free but it smells like Comet bathroom cleaner so it has got to be worse for you, or at least equally toxic in some other way. The smell is so strong that it makes my nose run and my eyes water, even when applied only to my chin! No joke. Sulfur naturally has a slightly unpleasant, but not unbearable odor. When you are using sulfur products you should keep that in mind but it is not a big deal at all. This stuff is crazy, awful, may-as-well-go-eat-a-bowl-of-Ajax instead TOXIC! Does being stuck in an unventilated, small space with a gallon of bleach sound healthy to you? Then you are the person who would feel comfortable applying this to your skin and inhaling while doing so. Otherwise you could spend your money on any other sulfur ointment and be just fine- PEG and all. Something is not right with this product based on what is inside to emit such a toxic, chemical smell. Not worth it!!!

Works for angry red teenaged acne
Good product, can't beat the price. It's the only thing we've tried that's calming down my teenager's acne. Sulfur products are kinda stinky and this is no exception but it's expected and worth suffering through for the results it presents.

Works amazing!
Make my skin soft and cleared up a lot of my acne. It has a smell to it (it is sulfur after all), but once I rinse it off I cannot smell it.
