Great Factory fit Stereo for Chrysler 300c
Bought this for my wife's Chrysler 300c with Boston Acoustics. So hard to tell online what's needed and what's not. Planned on installing the day after Christmas. Seeing we had some time between company I slipped out figuring I'd get the Bezel off and ready for tomorrows install. Well, that took all of 5 minutes, then just 4 screws holding the unit in, a couple of plugs and the unit was out. The new unit went in just as fast. There are several wire harnesses included, I used the one that fit the factory plug. Initially I didn't plug in the Canbus and wasn't getting power to the unit. Solved that right away by added the included Canbus. You do have to run a wire to the windshield to install the GPS antenna - I just ran it under the dash and up the passenger side trim molding. That also went quick. My total install time was under 40 minutes start to finish.Everything works well. We couldn't figure out how to get the DVD player to work, it kept saying the car must be parked, which it was. I tried doing a search online and found instructions on how to bypass the E-brake sensor on another brand radio. So I went back out to the car, pressed the e-brake and the dvd works fine. You can not play DVD's while driving. All in all a great stereo that was plug an play. Came with everything needed for install and fit in the factory bezel. Be aware there are no install instructions, but again, it's pretty self explanatory.

Mystery Solved?!?!?! Either way, don't buy
This is an update to my earlier review. In regard to the unit randomly turning off for no apparent reason, I have a possible discovery and solution. It seems to do this after 9 minutes AND using more than one function such as radio and NAVI or radio and Bluetooth. The solution? Use radio ONLY for at least 9 minutes before using Bluetooth or NAVI and the unit seems to be happy.Continue reading for my previously posted review.1. The instructions don't state that the black box (half the size of a deck of cards) must be connected to work, but it does. Make sure it's plugged in during installation. Installation on my Dakota was easy.2. At times the volume goes dead. Solution: Rotate volume counter-clockwise to beneath zero. Then, when you turn it clockwise the volume will return. Regardless, when you switch from radio > GPS > reverse > drive > ______ (etc.) expect the volume to change 30%. If your volume was muted on one of these features and then you switch to another feature, that's usually when your radio goes silent, but the solution I provided seems to work.3. The entire unit is set to power off if key is removed followed by opening a door or waiting 9 minutes. Good idea, but problem is the unit gets confused on whether key was in / out during last power cycle. This seems to be why people think their radios randomly turn off while driving. I started timing it. Yep, it shuts off at 9 minutes of driving but only does this every few months for a few days.4. Radio is OK. It used to show artist and title while on FM, but stopped. I can't get those features to return even using reset button. I suspect there's a trick. Please post if you figure this out.5. Bluetooth connects easily and plays music OK but microphone / call quality is.... often tolerable, sometimes awesome, sometimes excellent according to my friends. Granted, some of this blame goes to the location of cell towers and road noise. Overall, quality-wise the Bluetooth is comparable to other Bluetooth calling devices I've used.6. I really like the GPS, a LOT! Easy interface, spot-on, and surprisingly up-to-date maps. I haven't updated my map and am a bit scared to LOL. Please post if you've had success. Even so, I'm very pleased with it.7. Video player has played every format I've tried to date, (except Blu-Ray which isn't advertised as included).8. I added a $20 back-up camera. On my Dakota, running from bumper though firewall took some work. Running through trim to unit was a breeze with simple connection. Image quality is excellent. I suppose this is based on the camera though.9. Trim display is too bright at night. The green color is OK, just too bright. At times the display seems a bit much at night but you can shutter the display. If using the GPS you can adjust brightness.All-in-all, I enjoy it and like the many features. But, I wish it were a Sony. As a Koolertron it acts up at times and has to be out-witted. Had I paid $100 I would have given a better rating but the price and quality are not in line. When it works, it's up to 3 stars (3.5 if you can tolerate volume changes between functions) but when it shuts off at 9 minutes while driving it's worth 1 star and make you want to pitch it. Nonetheless, I hope I've helped solve some of the problems others may be frustrated with.

Good so far!
I purchased this radio a couple of days ago. I have a Mitsubishi Raider (2007), and it has mostly Dodge Chrysler parts. The initial installation was simple; pull off the cover (carefully), unscrew 4 screws, and disconnect the harness from the back of the old radio. The connections match up with the factory radio. In today's time many radio faces have large screens, but the screen here is a little smaller then many. I have noticed volume glitches, but overall great sound. I had a difficult time connecting the rear-view camera to the radio. However, this was not because of the radio, but simply due to installation process of adding the camera.

Not worth it
The microphone doesn't work at all when making a call or receiving one as well as rarely ever connected to blue-tooth music. Also my screen cuts on and off constantly.

Not worth the quality
just got the radio for my 2008 dodge ram 1500 and man this radio is nice fit like a glove I was worried about ordering at first but i'm very happy with it so far. I read a lot of the reviews before I order it and I took a chance i'll see how well it holds up but overall its a nice up grade from what was in there .update 12/26/2018 radio went out today lasted one year dont waste your money not worth the 400.00

... a month now and so for I am very happy with it
I have had this for about a month now and so for I am very happy with it. I bought it for my daughter pt cruiser and was just as described easy to install, everything works as it should I hooked a backup camera to it to help her in backing up it works just like it is supposed to the navigation system works while you listen to the radio and warns you if your over the speed limit which I like since its my daughter is new to driving,it has the Chrysler logo on the boot screen which I think gives it a even more factory look and I am very happy with it I would recommend it not sure a bout longevity cause I have not owned it long enough however if it quits or gives problems I will update.

Junk.
Bluetooth sucks. Volume has a mind of it own. Navigation comes on when it wants to. Piece of crap!

Great replacement / upgrade unit
Extremely easy installation, works just as advertised. I only wish it included instructions to change the main menu speedometer from km/h to mph. Other than that this is a great replacement unit that fits perfectly.......I only gave 4 stars due to the lack of detailed instructions.
