Krio-English/English-Krio Dictionary & Phrasebook

I ordered this to familiarize myself with Krio before taking in a teenager from Sierra Leone. The example phrases were very helpful and I greatly appreciated the pages that explain the grammar and pronunciation of the language.The guide seems more oriented towards English speakers who are visiting Sierra Leone, but we still found many helpful phrases that helped with the language barrier.

Great book to learn the native Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 language

I was blown away as to how easy it is to use. And not so easy to put down. It is a everyday use and I am enjoying having it close at hand. Very Good.

This is the best dictionary I could find for my ESL student from Sierra Leone, but it's not enough. She only uses it occasionally because it is lacking so much. But it was good for her first month in the U.S.

very little available for learning Krio so I really appreciate this book. Now if they'd put out a cd so that the pronunciations are easier to catch, that would be great!

This book has been very helpful, however the friend I am practicing with has trouble unstanding it at some times and he is a native krio

Easy to comprehend layout, translations are always close bye.Great organization and progression of topics.The two dictionaries address the important need to know words.Thank you.
