This is a great way to put your mouse into the proper position. I got it to use when playing MS flight simulator to have my mouse next to my yoke instead of on the desktop in it's normal position. This reduces arm and shoulder strain because I am not reaching forward. The pad is very soft and comfortable for my hand, the surface size is just right. The pad can be mounted so it sits above or below the clamped surface. Also, the clamp size is adjustable by removing 2 screws so it will fit alot of desks. I do wish that the clamp surface wasn't rounded because it would fit a little more snug onto my particular desk. Once mounted it is very sturdy. I highly recommend this mouse pad mount.

We have a small bedroom in our home dedicated as a music room. I use a laptop for recording, backing tracks and other general computer uses. Having to reach back over two tiers of equipment to get to the laptop was awkward and annoying. With this cool little device I just clamp it onto the front edge of my gear stand and I have easy mouse access to all the functions I need for my music production. It rotates 180 degrees under the stand when not in use so it's not sticking out in the room. While I've had no durability issues with it, it feels a bit flimsy under the weight of my hand when I use it, so I've found that using a light touch is the ticket. Otherwise, it works and performs great!

The media could not be loaded. I just got it today right now and so far it’s doing what it needs to do! Really easy assembly. However the thing not give me a 5 star review is two things1) maybe it just my desk but when I try rotating it the thing attached to the desk tends to rotate the same direction. It doesn’t fall off or anything so it’s not a big deal at all2) When I switch where I want to rotate it, it tends to make a creaky sound when I put on weight on it a couple times. After that it’s silentAgain it appears pretty sturdy other wise and does what i need it to do! I bought this because I recently bought a new keyboard that takes up the majority of my desk and needed more table space. Would still recommend to buy, give it a shot! I’ll update if I face any further problems after long term use, but I believe it should be great :)

This is a decent mouse/joystick platform, but it doesn't quite live up to its description.The lower nut, which is supposed to lock the platform rotation, doesn't actually do so. There is no actual locking mechanism, just friction along a small plastic contact surface between the platform collar and the mount, and there was no amount of tightening the nut that would keep the platform from rotating under even a light force. The collar does have soft "stops" (softly clicks into place) as you rotate it, which is nice, but helps only slightly. A rubber gasket or something for extra friction would greatly improve this.The clamp has padding underneath which at least prevents scratches, but on my (inexpensive) desk did not stop the clamp from slipping. Hand-tightening the clamp nut was insufficient - the padding just doesn't provide much friction. At least the clamp and screw are metal, so it's nice and rigid and seems durable. Again, if this padding were a little more rubberized, it would help.Overall, this mount is useful enough, but I think I may have to apply my own less slippery pad to at least the clamp to make the performance more acceptable.

I bought this because I'm suffering from tennis elbow and needed more ergonomic positioning for my mouse. It also helped free up real estate on my small desk. This snapped together quickly and attaches securely to my thin glass-top desk. It's sturdy however I place the majority of my weight on my chair arm rests. I am very pleased with this product. It solved a problem I'd been trying to fix for months!
