Made “light” work of my job, brighter and cheaper than replacing old T5 lamps
Used these to replace some T5’s, I think, lights in my conservatory, really simple to fit together but the fly lead is quite short, not a problem for me as the final light is directly next to the flex outlet, the rest of the lights just clip together with the supplied joiners that allow them to butt up to each other. The light are decent enough for the price and do the job well, they are definitely cheaper and brighter than the old T5’s, I choose daylight white, better for the eyes, and a cooler but more even lighting experience, it a preference thing but if you are still using warm white lamps, give daylight lamps a try, they make warm white lamps look like candles in a paper bag.Are they cheap and plastic ? Well obviously yes but that’s all they need to be, mine are fitted out of direct view and bounce the light across the conservatory roof, when the LED strips on top of the kitchen cabinets pack up I will replace them with more of these, yes you will have to buy more connectors or joint two fly leads together if you want to run the light in anything other than a straight run but it’s not big deal and the connections appear to be standard for this type of light, you can get them from the same supplier here on Amazon.Long story short, look good, work well, reasonably bright, brighter than old T5’s, half the cost, half the power, will buy more

Worth persevering
On first unpacking, it felt a little cheap and flimsy. The connecting wire which comes with it is too short to be of any use and also very flimsy. However, if you have a little patience and some basic electrical know how you can connect it up using some wire of your own, and when you do it's worth the effort because the light it gives is absolutely splendid... Clean clear and very bright. So despite my initial misgivings I'm now very pleased with it.

A bright light, but virtually useless
The supplied cable with these lights is basically useless - at less than 4" long it makes for connecting to the supply impractical without having to join a length of three way cable to it, which doesn't meet with any code of practice. I'm sure supplying the light with 1m of cable wouldn't affect the price that much and would make the light practical to use out of the box.Having said that, when you do manage to wire it up the light is very bright and produces a cool white light.

Great Light - Great Price
I can be picky when it comes to a desk light where I am working all day. I was skeptical about the LED light because others I have seen appeared to have a high frequency flicker. However, I am very satisfied with the colour (bright white) and stability of this light. The only slight inconvenience was wiring in an in-line on/off switch; it would have been nice to have an integrated switch.

Cheap but not sure about value / long term performance
I bought two of these fittings about 15 months apart. Put next to one another they clearly do not emit light of the same colour. The suppllier advised that ........we can also confirm that current product might be different a bit if not from same stock/manufacture also item from 2019 might be discoloured already due steam/condensation.Not impressed, I will replace these with some other fittings in due course.

Great strip lights - recommended.
Bought these to replace the fluorescent strip lights in my kitchen cabinets which constantly kept blowing tubes. Very impressed by these: I deliberately got the cool-white as I prefer it in functional rooms like studies and kitchens. They are very bright, and at half the wattage of my old fixtures, should save a wee bit of money (not to mention new tubes at £10 each, 4-5 times a year!)

Short mains cable, difficult to use.
The lamp is supplied with a very short cable (six inches) made from the most horrible wire (may be copper coated aluminium). Not sure how you could safely connect it to the mains in a safe, neat and tidy way.

Great, very bright
Being a new handy woman, I was baffled by the bit and bobs included. ( no explanation in the box ) after my electrician explained, it was dead easy, bought what I needed and fixed it myself under my wall cupboards. What a difference it makes ! It is bright, lighting just the worktop where I prepare the food. Wish I thought of doing this years ago !
