Do I need to re-sterilise the needle before use, using alcohol? As it comes pre sterile and one time use.

Accepted Answer

Don’t reuse a sterile needle once opened and used. Sterile needles can be used straight from the pack but then need to be thrown away and a fresh one used for the next session. You would be introducing bacteria into fresh wounds if you reused it as alcohol alone is not enough to sterilise. Only going though an industrial autoclave would make it safe to use again. It’s not worth the risk of infection for the price of a disposable needle cartridge. Also, disposable needles and made for single use and would become blunt after one session and inefficient on a second use. Lastly, never share a cartridge between people even a close relative or partner.

Every 4 weeks! Your skin takes 4 weeks to regenerate and repair. The aim is cause tiny micro tears to the skin that trigger collagen and elastin when healing. It takes a full 4 weeks for this cell regeneration to happen. Otherwise you can cause more ageing or damage. On areas like acne scars you can go deeper and “stamp” hurts a bit & you might bleed but it’ll even out skin irregularities. Also amazing on stretch marks, inner thigh skin, saggy knees lol.. Works better if you apply hyaluronic serum and needle that too! Use a 32  for scars and a 12 everywhere else :) xx
