Kiwi Suede Protector, 4.25oz

I bought this product to protect my new Ugg boots. The product is well designed with clear directions. It is easy to spray and does not leak. So far, it seems to be very effective. Once I treated my boots, I wore them in the rain and they were completely protected! I think one bottle will last a few years and provide several reapplications.

I recently used the Kiwi Suede Spray to protect my Uggs, and overall, I am happy with the results. The spray did an excellent job protecting my Uggs from water damage after a light rain, which is exactly what I was hoping for. (No spots or watermarks.)One thing to note is that the spray has a noticeable odor when applied, as the label suggests using it in a well-ventilated area. The smell is temporary, and thankfully, my shoes don’t retain any odor after the initial application.The only downside I experienced was a slight change in the color of my Uggs. While this wasn’t an issue with my black pair, I did notice that my chestnut Uggs appeared a slightly darker shade after spraying. It’s not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind if you have lighter-colored suede items.Overall, I’d recommend this product for anyone looking to protect their suede shoes from water and light rain. It’s effective and easy to use, as long as you don’t mind the temporary smell and potential for slight color changes.

I used this protector on 2 pairs of suede shoes. So far, so good. I haven't gotten any water stains on the shoes in spite of wearing them in somewhat wet conditions (light rain.) I bought another can of the protector to use on suede boots. They were protected from light water stains, but not the salt rings that come from wearing boots in snow that has been treated with salt. (The product doesn't say anything about protecting from salt exposure, so I'm just adding this FYI. I haven't worn my treated shoes/boots in heavy rain since I don't want to ruin the shoes/boots in case they aren't protected under this condition. The product does state that shoes should be re-treated after water exposure. The latter is why I didn't give this product 5 stars since it doesn't confer permanent water stain protection.

I use this on my combat boots as I used to use kiwi brands on my black leather boots. Fantastic product price is going up, I do not mind I used to could find it in stores about town now Amazon is my only connection…I suggest using kiwi suede and nubuck cleaner before and it to can be acquired on Amazon!

This stuff is amazing! I used it for my Uggs and left them outside to dry per the instructions. I completely forgot they were outside and it started raining (weather app did not say it was gonna rain). By the time I remembered my Uggs were soaked. I through them in the drier and were good as new. No stains!!!!

You won’t see it, but you’ll thank it. This stuff is like a bodyguard for your suede shoes and purses—blocking stains, water, and bad decisions. Just don’t spray it indoors unless you want your house to smell like a hardware aisle.

I was surprised at the size of the can. Maybe in the past I’ve purchased another brand.I’ll just make sure I add the protectant appropriately.
