Q: Has anyone had trouble getting them to load. I bought some 4x6 cards that were too thick so neither of my printers would load them?

These ones have always worked great for me.

Q: Can you write on these with an ink pen?

yes, they are just thick paper. You can use them for anything you would use paper for.

Q: I tried using the Avery 5689 template. I cannot get the text on the cards correctly. I tried some of everything I know. How do I format text?

I use template #8387. I usually design in another program and then upload as a PNG to Avery.
