Best herbal book, instructions are clear, easy to follow. Lots of practical tips for many different maladies. I suffered for 6 months from osteoarthritis of my right knee and even the rheumatologist said there wasn't much he could do after the corrosive shot. He recommended starting to think about a knee replacement. My friend recommended this book. I got the book, started taking the Swedish Bitters in Stinging Nettle and Horsetail tea and applying it to the knee on a flannel cloth and within 1 week I woke up and the swelling had gone down completely. A lot less pain and no redness. I plan to continue this treatment because it worked for me.

I myself know about the book I own it in the German language which I bought on a trip to Vienna. Found it very interesting but could not find really the translation of all the herbs etc in English. I am very happy with the prescription for my present health problem. As Maria Treben clearly states treatments and herbs to use for each individual health problem, and giving precise instructions, which are easy to follow.Thru Amazon one can purchase all the Herbal oils tinctures and teas she suggests for healing .I am presently using the prescribed Herbal tea cream and oil for my problem . I also use the tincture she prescribes for my Eye problem, and so far I must say , the improvements are astounding and I am very pleased.Maria Treben wrote many books is translated in every language including in Japanese and Chinese. I also own the second book she wrote Health from Gods Garden, great for cross reference. All the praise for Amazon , everything is possible to purchase from wherever. Good Luck for all!

I am familiar with Maria Treben's contribution to health and was particularly pleased to be able to get the 1989 issue in English. Now I am looking for the German publication and will contact Amazon.de for that purpose.Recommendations in this book for the use of natural products are very helpful and often eliminate the purchase of high priced drugs with the same result - if patience is used.The book is well organized, easy to read and the coloured plates help identify the products.Indeed,there is a plant for every illness. Animals know that, but we humans are sometimes to far removed from nature to know what to use. This book shows us the way.
