HIGH QUALITYSome of the bargain foam bass traps on Amazon are shipped compressed and will need to be left alone for a few days to get there shape back. That tells you the foam they are made of is not very dense, and not likely to absorb the energy of bass frequencies.The foam this product is made of is dense (similar to my Auralex panels). I doubt they could be compressed much at all. They arrive intact and ready to hang.PLACEMENTTo figure out where to place them, I suggest the following (worked well for me):-Get an SPL meter app for your phone and set it to read slow.-Play filtered pink noise fairly loudly. Filtered means the high frequencies are removed (found an MP3 file of it with a web search for "filtered pink noise bass traps").-Put phone on a long selfie stick and get it nestled into every corner where a wall joins up to a wall, ceiling or floor. Move it around looking for the spots with the loudest readings (2-3db louder). Most likely this will be the room's top and bottom 4 corners and the middle of the area behind your speakers where the wall meets the ceiling. Wherever the reading is the loudest, this is where bass traps will help the most.MOUNTINGIf you want to remove them cleanly in the future, you can use 3M Command strips. For ones vertically mounted, I needed 4 large strips per trap. You have to press a lot to make sure the foam gets stuck to the strip. For one horizontally mounted, I used 5 strips on the ceiling side (1 in the middle, 2 on each end) and 4 strips on the wall side. Amazon sells the large Command Strips in bulk packs.

Great product from the looks of it, though I haven’t tested it on my studio yet. The dimensions are half an inch off from description, but I guess I can look pass that. I’m pretty excited to hang these. They’re huge. None were defected. Shipping took 9 days compared to 11 days it was expected to come. I plan to update my review.

Awesome. Nice, thick foam. Soaks up bass reflections very nicely. They come in packs of 4, and originally I only received 1 pack, but as soon as I notified the seller the other pack arrived within a few days. These are great and will help remove some of that muddiness that low end causes.

These are a good size for the price. They get the job done. Just make sure you understand how big they are. Even though I knew the measurements they were still bigger than I expected.

It’s not the same material or shade of gray as the Auralex bass traps I all really had in my studio. These are a little lighter. Im not sure how it compares in functionality or flammable to Auralex but I saved alot of money with these because they are cheaper.

Before adding these bass traps to my room I was having major reflection and low end issues. Now the low end is tammed and my room sounds pretty decent despite being a home studio.

Although these bass traps seem to work fine, the colour is medium light grey, not charcoal, like the rest of my sound foam.

Wow! These corner Bass Traps are the bomb!! Great Quality and did exactly just what I needed them to do in my Home Recording Studio.
