DK Eyewitness Books: Space Exploration Paperback – August 18, 2014

I purchased this for a grade 2 class learning about space and technology. The kids enjoyed looking at the pictures and reading more about the different space technology in the book. Great images and detailed information. I do wish the book laid flat more when it was opened, but for this price it works very well.

As usual, DK Eyewitness Books has produced an excellent portrayal of what the globe is doing and has done with the space explorations. I wish I had this book prior to my recent tour of NASA's JPL in Pasadena, CA. It explains a lot. I really like the arrangement of the book, it's illustrations and photographs make it vary engaging. I liked this book and learned a good deal. I also like the way updated information is added to the book over time.

My daughter is a big fan of these books-she is age 10.

I ordered two copies for my husband, who tutors a 3rd grader weekly.He found this book much better than anything available in the classroom, and the subject interests most boys (and perhaps girls) in this age group.

These books are the best! I purchased them for my nephew's (6 and 12) but read them first. Always great.
