After 2 years, our original remote had started showing signs of age but was working perfectly. That is until our toddler decided to 'hide' it. After a week of looking and having to use the Roku app, we gave up and ordered this. It arrived very quickly and we were back to having a remote to control our TV. Of course, a week later we found our toddler's hiding spot and now have 2 remotes. We're actually using the new remote since it's in better shape and will keep our original as a 'spare' in case someone decides to play the 'hide the remote' game again.

Got the replacement remote and it works perfectly with my TCL TV (all the buttons).One minor point... The "hot keys" on the remote (Sling, Netflix, etc.) are programmed to the remote, so no need to match your existing remote/TV pairing.Since you do not need to match the new remote hot keys with the existing remote, if you find one with other hot keys set you prefer (say Hulu vs Amazon), feel free to get it.

PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME.My 9 month old son is just obsessed with our Roku TV remote, and after prying the drooly thing from his sticky fingers for the hundredth time, I caved and bought him his own. Now I don't have to worry about him eating batteries or our germs, because I can wash this with his other toys. I'm not sure how it works as a remote, but man is it a great teether. We just get funny looks when he takes it with him in public

I lost count of how many times we’ve lost the remote to our TCL tv... We couldn’t find it for a week straight so I finally gave in and purhased this one. It worked perfectly. It has a matte finish, which is cool because whenever we find the original we’ll be able to tell them apart since the original has a glossy finish. I like that It’s cheap enough that I can buy more if need be....Which it probably will lol

Worked on first try. Like I had seen on the negative reviews, there was no pairing button, but I didn't need it. Seems to me it all depends on the Roku TV model. Only minor, minor negatives is the 4 "quick link" buttons on the bottom. 2 of them I have no clue what they are. No biggie; I just go through the apps on the TV. And that the remote is very light; wish I had bought the case so it wouldn't slip or fly out of my hand. Overall, I am very pleased

I ordered these because I had lost our original Roku remote- and I love them even more than the ones that came with the TV. Better quality feel. They’re more of a Matte than a shiny & the buttons have a solid click sound when you push them so it’s over all more satisfying than our old ones that came with the TVs. So for the low price we’re super happy.

Item works right out of the box, no set up required. All functions work exactly the same as the original remote worked. My kids are always dropping and messing with it and it's held up well to the abuse so far. Super easy and cost efficient replacement for an item I'm sure I'll have to replace again(my kids lose everything)

I was minding my own business when suddenly a large wormhole opened up in the middle of my living room and sucked the Roku remote, my pet cat, my younger brother, and half of my personal belongings into it.Fortunately, this replacement remote works perfectly with the TV that was spared from the carnage. Highly recommended if you lose or break your remote!
