Useful.
I just ordered a few more of these, after the first one I bought vanished (can't tell whether to blame the housekeeper or the cats, but most likely the cats). The plug is great for quick trips to the bathroom at night, showers, and for letting somebody else (me; my wife's the one with the bionic bladder) empty the night bag when it gets full. The cap is useful for protecting the plug when it's not in use, but it's a little hard to remove.
